Now i want to swap my panigale clip on to widebars , calling it Panifighter
Now you have all the cons of a super sport bike without any of the pros 😅
Or, you could say that he has most of the benefits of a sports bike, without the ugly fairing. 🤷♂️
@@burkeyatm fairings are literally what makes the panigale better looking than the Streetfighter.
@@benorim Nope. They make it,look worse.
@@burkeyatm Forget looks, they are subjective. But aerodynamics aren’t.
@@benorim Ok, so we have two bikes. One has a better coefficient of friction through the air. That is objectively true. The subjective part is whether a person either needs or wants that. For most of us, the difference in aero would really only be noticed at over 150km/h, becoming VERY obvious above say 200km/h. How often does the rider do those speeds? Can they justify the expense and hassle of fairings for the return? For most people, most of the time, fairings aren’t necessary. Don’t buy bikes based on what I’m going to do with them 1% of the time. Others might.
This is 110% what I woud do if I had a SF, I've had monsters all my life and I always run Clipons, I have like 5 pairs of them laying arround with slightly fifferent heigths and angles. I'm glad to see it done without having to buy the SF mysefl, always wondered how beautifull it would look! chapeau sir
Finished my SFV4 clip-on conversion last night using Woodcraft 1" rise. Now it steers like my panigale, great
i am so here for this amount of excitement!!! yesssssss
Triumph did this with there new Moto 2 Street Triple. Don’t know if I would do this to mine. But I’m definitely curious to see what it feels like. Congrats man 😂🔥
Hands down the best looking bike I have ever laid eyes on, the clip one really change the mood!
Really cool! Love your first reaction hah. Does look badass - one suggestion to clean up the cockpit even more... check out the Motocorse integrated brake and clutch reservoirs. Will get rid of those Brembo "pee cup" reservoirs and be much more sleek. They're super high quality.
Clipons on naked bikes are fckn cool! On a Ducati its sick! Great job man 😎🤙🏻
I don’t think I’ll do clip ons but I like the idea of flat bars.
Rizoma makes a "drag" bar flat bar that would be perfect.
Just did this mod on my little Kawasaki Z300. And boy what a difference it makes. I can now actually accurately control the bike better than the stock handlebars.
Now THIS is a Streetfighter.
awesome vid. This is the same exact reason why i love the triumph street triple moto 2
This looks amazing, nice one. Still wondering considering your trend to prefer track riding why not just get the track ready bike Peni V2?
It reminds me of the time when Superbikes where esentially naked bikes. Good job! I'm doing the same thing with my 2000 Ducati Monster M900ie. I'm turning mine into a cafe racer
Perfect for the track AND moderate / high speed street riding, I love it. I guess it’s more comfortable than a Panigale on longer rides due to the wind taking the strain from the wrists much more than a bike with a fairing does.👌🏼
Looks amazing 😍
Love this.... I tripped over this vid trying to see if anyone mounted flat bars on one, because I primarily ride my v4s on track now and am considering options to give me a better track position as well. I don't want to have to machine my tripple, so wondering if a pan tripple would fit. I am also wanting to raise my footpegs a bit more for a touch more ground clearance as well, I have scrapped on a downhill turn before and it downshifted the bike and upset the chassis pretty good almost causing my first get off hahaha. I have since learned to get further off the bike, so I can decrease lean angle, but I do still want more clearance, if possible. These things are so much fun on the track. I applaud you sir ;)
All these people in the comments that dont understand the concept of "building your own bike" is hilarious 🤣 the point isn't to be a naked bike, or to be a true supersport. A true "streetfighter" came from 90s sportbikes with no fairings, STILL WITH CLIPONS, naked bikes werent a thing then, naked bikes have a completely different purpose, and the "Ducati Streetfighter" has ruined the name of what a true streetfighter is. This man putting clipons on his Streetfighter, has made it a true streetfighter. Props to you my guy, fuck all these haters, gotta know to know🤙🤙🤙
Clip ons are probably a bad idea for you since you cashed this bike at low speed with very controllable handlebars. You probably should consider going back to normal bars and working on your skills as they will be much easier for you whilst learn how to control the bike. They look cool but by the look of your crash video you were already overweighting the front tyre and this will only make that worse.
Agreed, If I were him I’d spend my time developing skills and money protecting the bike with frame and axle sliders before anything else. You’d think after dumping the bike that would be top priority lol. 🤷🏽
what did he get clip ons and still they are angled straight. when have you see clip ons straight
Forgot one detail in the last comment, consider to upgrade the footpegs for the Panigale ones OR adjustable aftermarket ones, I did this on my bikes and it's a game changer, You now lean more to the front so You need to decreade your leg angle by pushing your feet back and up a bit.
Such a cool conversion but you could have installed the clip ons above the triple clap without milling it. Would have made it easier to convert back if you ever wanted to do that.
Im using this as inspo to slap clip ons for my Monster+
just buy a penigale v2?
I’m really sorry to say you’ll fall harder next time.. “i dropped the bike because I had my weight on the front wheel, so I’m going to put more weight on in to make it better” 😢
So given the V2 Panigale Clip on Fits on the SFV2
Will the Panigale V4S clip ons fit on the SFV4S?
I think I just found the next project for my SFV4S
first time seeing sf v2 with winglets, are they plug n play? originals v4 Parts? looks awesome dude.
Ya know what how has this worked out for you I’m thinking about buying a naked and installing clip one since the original reason for a street fighter was a sports bike whose lost its fairing for one reason or another. (Accidents lol) so clips one would be the handle bars not the more upright ones sold as stock on the bike .. do you still have the bike how is the ergos
I have so much to say……
1. You dropped your bike because you had all your weight on the front… so you decided to put even more weight on the front?
2. You get a naked so you are more comfortable and are able to ride more on track (more hours more exercise more experience more improvement on your riding)
3. And most important The street fighter is supposed to be a comfortable panigale. And you made a panigale more uncomfortable with removing the wind protecting.
There is a reason why ducati doesn’t offer this.
Their racing divers practice on street fighter and noobs do the opposite…
Bigger handlebars make the bike flick from side to side easier! Try counter steering. Push the handlebar on the side you want to go and then you’ll feel actual telepathic steering and throw the clip ones in the trash. (Get a tuck in behind what bike ??? You got no fairing!) I got to go I can’t keep hearing what your saying…. Bye
Why not try flat bars first?
Did you replace the triclamp too?
Hey engine guy, love your channel, how i can get the black rubber pads on the side of the gas tank…greetings 👍
it doesnt exist because of the panigale lol....the pani is geared better for track, and the streetfighter is geared for the street. woodcraft sells top yokes for conversions for a lot of bokes as well in case you cant mill them yourself. hope youre still enjoying the bike!
So what did you do to shorten the swing arm 16mm?😅😅😅
@JacobVillemain Can you please provide the link for your front and rear stands of that bike in video?
Hello, is the rubber isolator removable? Mine looks like it isn’t. Thank you
Hello, I'm thinking of doing something similar on my cb1000r, maybe not as radical as those semi-handlebars, a little higher, after using it for longer, what do you think about that change?
What suspension changes did you have to do now that you have more weight on the front?
Hello, could you send me the model or link of the handlebars please?
First 👍's up thank you for sharing
Where did you mount the front turn signals?
Clip ons are better on nearly all bikes.
What size are those clip-ons?
I have Streetfighter v2 as well. Do you think the ohlins front forks from the Bayliss v2 will swap over with the oem handlebar setup
I think someone at my shop said it would not work because the way the triple tree is different on the Panigale? But don't quote me on that. Either way, you can get the exact same forks from Ohlins directly. Check out the FGRT 214 forks (30mm R&T 43). They come in either black and gold chrome section or the traditional gold and gold. I'm planning on doing this in the near future, along with the TTX-GP shock.
@@danielbarber2677 thank you. I am considering the cartridge kit as well. But I would prefer the shocks
Now go buy a panigale and stick the upright bars on it . This guy should go work for Ducati . Sweeping up!
Where are you located?
Other people just buy a Panigale V2
divertimento troppo
WHY?!!!!!!
Put in a clip-on on a SF is the dumbest thing ever😂
Should have sold it and bought a Panigale instead😂
Why would someone would do that?
None of the pros of any of the two bikes 😂 genius
He still got some pros from SF. The low end grunt
