Mine was a blue 75 that only had a front brake as the ear for the rear cable was broken off and too expensive to replace. But at 15 and already quit school, we went all over Texas! Traded $40 and a Cobra CB radio for it, I don’t think it ever got paid off by the original owner and I gave it to a friend when I went in the Army in 77 at 17
I love this bike! Always wanted one, but when I was in high school, it wasn't "cool" to have 2-stroke bike: 1. The sound of a 2-stroke made everybody cringe (not me though), 2. They smoked...most of the time, when they were running. So...4 strokes just sounded better to a lot of people. But man...2 strokes were ungodly FAST.

My first motorcycle, but I had the 72. Loved it. The first Japanese super bike. Mine was a solid red and had a front disc brake.

I would change the rear turn signal lenses to orange but other then that very nice example of a 70s Suzuki 2 stroke.

Replace the crank seals they get old and will blow out, it happened on my 76 GT500 , on the clutch side
The likelihood of a two-stroke muffler or exhaust rusting (internally) is very low. The chrome may pit.
