    Everybody: You can't fit a playlist of songs into a 3-minute piece and make them all sound good.
    Harold L. Walters: Hold my beer
    This is just the ultimate medley.

      Hi-skool band trumpet player here: I hate medleys, and always considered this the most trivial, demeaning bit in our repertoire.

      @@babapambazuka2845well as a primary school trumpet player whose school won high school eistedfords we loved this. Was a crowd fave at the Royal Easter show..having said this i can see how it would irk some due to the constant flow change, but as a 10 yo we all loved the grunt a third through😂

      It stinks. Band directors only do it every year because it’s easy and they are lazy and don’t want to work on anything difficult. Usually fat old music teachers

    • @vintagedegenerate
      @vintagedegenerate 2 роки тому

      I rather enjoy my directors, both from Middleschool and Highschool. But I do agree, especially with Jazz; Harder pieces that prove to be a challenge are more fun to play. The reason why Directors don't usually choose harder pieces are due to the fact that newer people would have trouble with it at performances, if not the band as a whole.
