I have a diagnosed social anxiety disorder. Today has been filled with a lot of meeting new people and starting new things. Now I have a job interview coming up in 30 minutes and I couldn’t stop myself from hyperventilating. The fear of the unknown has been overwhelming at this turning point in my life, but listening to this song is the one thing that lets my mind rest. My heart rate is currently lowering while I’m typing this, and I can finally control my breathing. Slow and steady. It’s strange, it’s as if I can’t think about stressful things when this song is playing. The music makes me somewhat hopeful, that things will be okay no matter what happens. I just have to go in there and have a conversation, and if it works out, that’s great, and if not then I’ll find something else. It’s not the end of the world. I can do this
It's no life when you need to be calm and only calm to actually start living. The moment when you need to control something is the moment when you've already lost. Every waking moment you'll judge yourself based on how well you managed to control your anxiety, painting your whole life in black and white colors, meaning you either live or suffer from your disorder. Hope can be quite dangerous when things don't go your way, leaving you practically defenseless to depression. It's better to just live for the sake of living, without a care in the world if anything will go right or wrong, if you will get better or not, if you can do this today or not. Just... screw it... Nothing of that makes you a better or worse person. Don't try to fight your anxiety as it will fight back, live with it and it will do the same.

Just got out of the shower with my baby and this music came on as recommended, I left it on because it was so relaxing, I got my baby dressed in his pjs, combed his hair, and now I’m putting him to sleep. Overall this has been such a peaceful night routine
i remember, i played this song as i laid in bed, snuggling with my kitten. he had a terrible fever, he was super lethargic, and could not eat or drink. i tried many medicines, none worked. i was sure he was on his death bed. so i cuddled him one last time, as i cried into his fur. i woke up the next morning, and i have never been so relieved. there my baby was, eating and drinking at his food bowls. by some miracle, he pushed through. now he’s 1 year old as of June. i love him more than myself. thank you for making this video, it’s beautiful ❤

But the more I did that the more I realized that staying up late on my phone isn’t good for me and not only burns me out even more but just makes me feel mentally drained. Not understanding why he had to depart at very young age? Only through the infinite love and God's mercy I was able to recover myself allowing me to penetrate into this complicating and confusing aspect of the life! Don’t ever feel like you need to move on faster than the pace you feel comfortable with, just to make others feel comfortable with themselves, if they feel uncomfortable with comforting someone else or seeing someone else hurt, that’s something they need to work on, and get use to. Because on this earth, there is plenty of hurt people and they deserve support, healing. You deserve that support as well, you are so very strong for going through this. The only expectations you should be following is ones you make up for yourself. And I’m so sorry that you’re going through this, if thinking of those moments you had with your partner makes you feel better, then sit and think on those moments. And remember love, it is so very acceptable to cry, and it is so valid. The pain you are feeling, hurts. And it will hurt. But there is also beauty in pain, and you are that beauty. One of these days you will be able to go on with life, without them. But for now don’t think of that if it makes you worry. Just know that they loved you and appreciated you, and did what they could to care for you while they were here, and they would want you to do the same for yourself. When I was a young bride, I wanted to walk down the aisle to Clair de Lune so badly. We were married in a church, so I had to use a church song. My mom wanted me to get married In the church, so I caved. 26 years later I still imagine this as the song I walked down the aisle to, and I imagine it being an outdoor wedding in a pretty garden or meadow. I don't usually comment on white noise videos but this one warrants a comment. This is the best white noise video I have ever used for studying. I have gone through my fair share of lofi music, classical music, tv-static-like white noise, rain sounds, waterfall sounds, and binaural beats, but this video is the only one that I have been able to tune out while it keeps me tuned in, if that makes sense. I forgot it was playing until I saw the UA-cam tab open. I have bipolar, depression, and autism, all of which make my focus non-existent and make me feel super overwhelmed when I try to work. I’m so conditioned to staying up late now, it no longer feels the same as it did when I was younger. Staying up past midnight was something of a feat, and now, it’s a routine. 2 am, sitting in bed, alone, crying, it’s just not how it used to be. This music somehow keeps me grounded, it pulls me back and reassures me that I may sleep tonight. It’s become a part of my nightly routine of sleeplessness, but it is slowly pulling me into a new routine of health and sleep. Thank you.

One of my friends is named Clair de Lune. I am swimming now in a small pool my husband set up over the Summer. Being in the water, looking up at the sky, imagining angels, family, pets in Heaven. Clair de Lune always reminds me of my girlfriend, her name's Claire, so I have an automatic association already. But furthermore, my brother used to play the song a lot when I was around 5, so that mix of nostalgia and the thoughts of her mix together and create a very nice comfy feeling :) This video also specifically really adds to that. Daisy's are my favorite flower so I think of all the times she's given me daisies or brings up daisies when she sees them, and it also just makes it feel like it's a mixture of both of us together or something. The rain also reminds me how we both love the rain and would love to sit together and listen to the rainfall. We're long-distance currently, and although it's hard sometimes, I love her so much. If everything goes right we hope to move in together in the future, but even if circumstances change, I'm so happy with her presently, and that's what matters most :)) Also, a quick edit, I've realized that the comfy feeling that I get, also derives from the beautiful composition of the piece and how it evokes a similar feeling in almost everyone who listens to it.

this masterpiece became my favorite song ever since he told me he play this. It helps me ease out my anxiety disorder. Yesterday was his 19th birthday, but I couldn't greet him since we don't talk anymore. I hope he's doing well because he's also an unstable person. If you're reading this, i hope you're okay! When I was a young bride, I wanted to walk down the aisle to Clair de Lune so badly. We were married in a church, so I had to use a church song. My mom wanted me to get married In the church, so I caved. 26 years later I still imagine this as the song I walked down the aisle to, and I imagine it being an outdoor wedding in a pretty garden or meadow. It’s silly, but it’s one of my favorite things to imagine. 💕

I don't usually comment on white noise videos but this one warrants a comment. This is the best white noise video I have ever used for studying. I have gone through my fair share of lofi music, classical music, tv-static-like white noise, rain sounds, waterfall sounds, and binaural beats, but this video is the only one that I have been able to tune out while it keeps me tuned in, if that makes sense. I forgot it was playing until I saw the UA-cam tab open. I have bipolar, depression, and autism, all of which make my focus non-existent and make me feel super overwhelmed when I try to work. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been here. Since 2023 I have been coming here. I have IBS and I tend to get severely nauseous in the middle of the night. I’ve always had a fear of throwing up so my anxiety gets kicked up.. but then I remember.. this video exists..this is one of those nights, I just want to take the time to say thank you. I’m so conditioned to staying up late now, it no longer feels the same as it did when I was younger. Staying up past midnight was something of a feat, and now, it’s a routine. 2 am, sitting in bed, alone, crying, it’s just not how it used to be. This music somehow keeps me grounded, it pulls me back and reassures me that I may sleep tonight. It’s become a part of my nightly routine of sleeplessness, but it is slowly pulling me into a new routine of health and sleep. Thank you.

One of my friends is named Clair de Lune. I am swimming now in a small pool my husband set up over the Summer. Being in the water, looking up at the sky, imagining angels, family, pets in Heaven. Its the night before my last full day as an 11th grader! This year had been crazy; from being virtual, heart issues, getting cardiac surgery, heading back into school, and making up school assignments i’ve been stretched like a piece of taffy! Clair de Lune always reminds me of my girlfriend, her name's Claire, so I have an automatic association already. But furthermore, my brother used to play the song a lot when I was around 5, so that mix of nostalgia and the thoughts of her mix together and create a very nice comfy feeling :) This video also specifically really adds to that. Daisy's are my favorite flower so I think of all the times she's given me daisies or brings up daisies when she sees them, and it also just makes it feel like it's a mixture of both of us together or something. The rain also reminds me how we both love the rain and would love to sit together and listen to the rainfall. We're long-distance currently, and although it's hard sometimes, I love her so much. If everything goes right we hope to move in together in the future, but even if circumstances change, I'm so happy with her presently, and that's what matters most :))
Also, a quick edit, I've realized that the comfy feeling that I get, also derives from the beautiful composition of the piece and how it evokes a similar feeling in almost everyone who listens to it.

@@sleepynoodles6425 i actually ended up reading a court of thorns and roses series to this song, i just felt that it connected well. i usually find a different song for each series i read. im not sure what you might like but if you like YA i definitely recommend it. as well as the Throne of Glass Series which i read to the song ylang ylang by fkj slowed which i felt fit so incredibly perfectly that occasionally i just needed a minute to breathe and listen to it to feel everything the books made me feel. i wish you the happiest of reading and the best of luck with the hunt for perfect music!

When my niece was fours old & had lost her mother, she was traumatized & I tried to comfort her & she could not be comforted. One day, I played just Claire De Lune for her & she became very still & listened intently & when it was over she looked at me & said thoughtfully, “That song is for God.” I almost fell over.
She slowly healed listening to this every day. 😌
