I have what my rheumatologist describes as "a particularly nasty form" of RA. I've been trying to find someone to prescribe and monitor this drug for me. I've been told repeatedly that they can't do that for "off label" use. I'm very glad to see that you and others have been using it for off label use and can now debunk that argument. Wish me luck.
Started out taking 3 mg once a week...... had mouth sores after the 2nd and 3rd dose, dropped the dosage to 2mg once a week and haven't had any further known negative effects....about 5 months in at this point. Plan on taking for the long term since the potential positives far outweigh any of the known negatives at this point, as a precaution the doctor has test coming in at 6 months to make sure there have been no "internal" side effects from the drug......kidney issues are one of the known side effects.
Hi Dr rogers I have been reading Dr Hymans book “young forever” he talks a lot about rapamycin. We are interested for longevity and anti aging. I had a huge allergic reaction to Cipro the floraquinalone it’s taken me 4 years to get my health back. Would you prescribe it to someone with my history. Follow you all the time thank you for educating us.

Hello doc. Some people say Rapa raised their blood glucose levels. And some report a raise in cholesterol. Any inputs?
I’ve taken 5mg every Monday since June 2021. I’m currently 53 😄
Keep it up!
