Eve, believe it or not but I think, because of these you tube video's, she is more recognized now than 20 years ago. Crazy! But, there is no denying she is a wonderful singer and writer. For me Lara has the best female voice in the world, she puts 100% of her soul into every song. She is a master storyteller and in this song she grabs your soul and doesn't let go. I actually was at that particular performance that night in 1999. The majority of spectators, including myself, ad mixed emotions. It was amazing. I will never forget that moment for the rest of my life. It's been 22 years ago and I still remember every minute of that performance.
I loved the woman in her 30 year with her intensity and her vocal performances. I loved the 40 year old with her willingness to discover many different musical styles, always with a fabulous voice. And I love the woman in her 50s who has managed to preserve her voice through hard work, adapting to the evolution of her voice while retaining that little bit of enthusiasm and complicity that makes us melt.
