This was the best review I could find on this bow! it made my decision to get a Solution SS so so much easier as I was between 2 bows. I shot both bows and settled on the SS. Couldn't be happier. Thanks, MFJJ for the reviews, they are awesome!!
I bought the solution ss a few months ago and I love it. For what I do,hunting,3d it's great. Super smooth and easy to draw and hold. Comfortable. I can sit in my stand and hold it for literally minutes if I need to. For the average person, hunter like myself. I highly recommend.
I just got back from the bow shop. I went with every intention of buying the new mathews vx3. I told him I wanted the smoothest , easiest draw. He got me the mathews , a hoyt vertex (I cant remember exactly the model) and the bowtech solution ss. The bowtech was the last one I shot and I knew after drawing the bow that it was exactly what I wanted. The hoyt was second best draw with the mathews being the harshest of the 3. I didn't like the last 2 inches of the mathews as it jumps when it rolls over. Everything you loved about it is exactly why it's riding next to me on the way home. This is the first bow I've bought in 10 years as I'm getting back in to it!!! Great review
Yep,,, same here - went to give the Vx3 the opportunity to come home & as soon as it dumped over - I said nope,,, I shot the arrow and gave it back.... The guy liked at me and asked if I was serious and I said yes, it feels like shiet.... ... I'm waiting to try an Athens Vista, Elite Envision & The Solution when my bowtech dealer gets healed up from his surgery..... My Bowtech RPM360 & Obsession Fusion6 are still working flawless..
Great review. Thank you for reviewing the comfort and performance settings. I'm getting ready to purchase my first bow, and was waiting for the '22 Bowtechs to be announced before I made a decision. Well, they came out today and I don't think any of the '22 BT offerings can beat this SS for the purposes for which I intend to use it. Subscribed. Appreciate the honesty. Not all reviewers share how they really think and feel about equipment, as they are worried about angering manufacturers, etc.
I just ordered the bowtech solution ss 70lb. My shoulder has been messed up the last couple years but I love shooting compound. I am ready for deer season so I can hunt out of my saddle.
I compared this and the Revolt side by side in 2021 and went Revolt (slightly longer brace height and slightly faster but heavier) and still question my decision. They were extremely close. These 2 bows are like the 308 win carbine of the deer woods, to make a weird analogy. Mine is set at 60 lbs and on comfort mode and it basically pulls itself back for you if you look at it funny.
Love these reviews. It would be awesome if you could superimpose the other 2021 bow measurements in a simple text chart (actual weight, speed with each weight of arrow, draw length over factory, etc...) whenever you go over each aspect.
Thank you for all your reviews, expertise & no bullshit honest, facts are facts, feedback MFJJ👍 much appreciated from the Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia. Is there any chance to see a Xpedition X33 review? I understand you can't review every Manufacturers Flagship bow. I've know doubt you would if time & the opportunity was available. Thank you for sharing your experience & knowledge.
I got one earlier this year and I love it. I have one question about why did you say you would only use for less than 50yards? I'm 6'3" with a 31" draw and it was one of the few bows that goes to 31" draw. Thanks for doing the review and I like your channel
So outside of the older models ie pre hard Rock limbs I have seen 0 limbs desalination and we sell 300 plus a year so im assuming your referring to pre reign models year 2. They changed how they made limbs at that point and brought it all in house and that solved any problems they have had.
I just bought one draw cycle is amazing and it is very dead in the hand but I the v3 imo is the deadest bow I ever shot and I'm not a mathews fan bow all I own is bowtech
Here's a newbie question: I've been watching tons of bow videos trying to find the one for me. I'm brand new to bows other than shooting a few, including recurve bows. This will be my first compound bow. What's some suggestions hunting bows for under $1000 that I can grow with and use a lot before later buying a flagship bow?
Id look into the diamond edge 320 (bowtech owns diamond) i got mine from podium archey about a month ago and i love it!! Its a great top end “entry” level bow with lots of adjustable settings. 15-31 inch draw weight and 7-70 pounds so you can grow into it. Super smooth, accurate, and pretty quite. My only suggestion is look into upgrading the sights, rest, and stabilizer to make it a super legit hunting/target bow (comes with cheap plastic sights and rest). I added about $350 worth of upgrades so in total its about a $800 setup. Not cheap but also didn’t break the bank. Also if you don’t feel comfortable setting it up by yourself take it to a shop so you they can get it really dialed in for your specs.
Dude, thank you for being the only person in all of UA-cam to Review both the Comfort and Performance setting! Your reviews are Epic!!
I agree and had just subscribed because it was such a great review. Now I’m gonna look and see if he did a review on the V3

Thanks for another great review! Would love to see a head2head with the Elite Kure (in comfort setting) or Encore (in performance setting).
I love that bow man. I completely struggled with the grip on the Revolt X but I’m still tempted to buy one of these to try again
The Clutch grip can take some time to get used to, but when you do nothing else feels right.

hi MFJJ, did you do the video on which bows are better for different hunting conditions? Cant find it in the list. Very keen to see this one.

You should compare this bow with the Core SS.
I was wondering if the string angle is to sharp for my on this bow my draw length is 30.5

Any changes in the limb material? These Bowtech’s delaminate/crack constantly.

@@joshjones6862 my last Bowtech was the insanity, it’s been awhile. Agree with how awesome the new ones shoot tho. 70 feels like 60

my proshop recommended the hoyt torrex
PSE Drive NXT, there's no cheap plastic and for the most part is a solid rig
