Thank you for watching man! Wolverine has been a favorite of mine dating back to my childhood, so IH #181 had become my personal grail for years. I finally pulled the trigger a several years ago, it was my first expensive comic book purchase. I’m obviously happy with the decision because this book with so many others from the Bronze Age as of lately, has soared out of my price range.

You have an awesome collection there. I used to own like 70% of those books but they are so expensive now that I probably will never get them again.
Thank you for watching as always CBN! 70% of those books would be out of my range now too brother! I was just lucky to be able to snag’em before things got totally out of hand & haven’t needed to sell anything in a couple of decades. It has to be tougher than ever for someone who is just getting into the hobby now economically speaking.

Hulk 181 was like the crown jewel of back issues that I had wanted for most of my years collecting & man am I glad I finally pulled the trigger 4-5 years ago! As a Wolverine fan dating back to the early 80s, I’m still amazed how much that book has increased in value over the years with no apparent end in sight at the moment. Cheers!
Love those books! Some I have and some I don’t have. I did sold my X-Men 94 but still have 95, 96, 97 and GS X-men 1. I am a big Nick Fury fan and definitely will get Strange Tales 135
Hey thanks for watching Joe! That ST #135 is actually the first time Nick Fury appeared as an agent of SHIELD, his first overall appearance was in Sgt Fury & His Howling Commandoes #1. My bad lol! It's still a great book though imo! That early All New All Different X-Men run are essential classics for sure man!

Wow! Some really hot and expensive stuff in your top 50. I know it must have been a good deal, but I don't see myself spending $400 on a single comic book. I just can't afford this. I'M okay with with reading reprints of pricey stuff. Still, impressive list sir! And always cool to see a new video from your collection.
Thanks for watching as always Rangerly! I came to a decision about 5 years ago to try to collect all the books that I've always wanted but could never find them on the cheap or at all. I've spent 400$ on clothes or going to games & concerts over the course of a year in the past, so that rationalization helped me to take the plunge lol! I was still kinda nauseous about it though, prior to IH #181 the most I'd ever spent on a comic was 20$ lol!

Oh I do so much research plus my level of stuff I like stretches beyond what most collect top 50 collections look like everyone appears to like the same thing
So many jealousy generators. Kicking myself for not buying a hulk after all these years, its on fire rght now so doubtful ill ever get a complete copy at least. I made a top 50 video too, kind of weak but whatever.

Hulk 181 was the first big $ book that I’d ever purchased mainly because Wolverine & Batman have been my favorite characters for most of the time that I’ve been a comic fan/collector. Wolverine’s first appearance while still expensive, was still realistically attainable at the time & I nauseously pulled the trigger lol!
