To know is to dispell that lack of understanding and ability. So I believe you are correct. It has several names given by different groups based one whether you name is based on a principle or action. It is most commonly known as variation of Yoko Wakare or tani otoshi and is often called valley drop throw in English. There is also a version of tani otoshi perhaps more common in judo which is typically performed to the rear but it’s essentially the same principles.
