The guy who put the rod bearings in that motor at gm had to have had a mullet a bald eagle on his t shirt and a hangover while smoking a Marlboro red when he put them in hell he probably put that green loctite on the back sides.
Been watching y'all since high school in 2018. I remember people saying "I feel bad for that truck." "You guys are idiots." Now people are like "hell yeah brother, another vid!!!"
Yup back in in the day I was like holy crap they're just balls to the wall drifting and burnouts...my dad has a 99nbs and I've joyride that puppy but couldn't get it to spin tires that much or that far haha
I’m not even sure what I’m more impressed about, the fact that 5.3 is still moving or the fact that y’all have the only 99-02 Silverado with that much abuse that’s still got both running lights working that trucks a god
That truck is more rare than the Unicorn Silverado 1500 truck with a duramax swapped 6.6 and functional quadrasteer. ua-cam.com/video/NKX91iMAW9o/v-deo.html
My transfer case unbolts itself from the transmission and Bruce jenners the studs, it’s been fixed multiple times. I wish my 5.3 was built like the work rig
dude I love these 5.3s I got my cateye last week and I've had so much fun doing burnys but watching these videos over again makes me want to go out and sent it
Pre-dod 4.8 , 5.3 , and 6.0's are super tough! Only common issue that not all of em get but some do is lifter tick or they'll eat a cam lobe but thats usually pretty high up in miles. Had a whore work truck at an ol job , 5.3 4x4 half ton . everyone would beat on it all year round on lease roads and up in the woods. 328k miles when it got wrecked and totaled by insurance. Still ran afterwards!
this truck always surprised me that motor was built perfect, then i remembered that the 4l60 is still alive as well and i cant ever remember you guys swapping it like how
@Peter Nemetsky I'm not super crazy about the looks of the titan or the tundra but they are both really good trucks. Toyota builds a great product. My uncle had a titan that took a lot of abuse and was pretty much trouble free
This should speak for the LS. them things are beast! Reminds me of burning on a Kelly charger. Them things were rock hard and you could blow the engine before you blow a tire lol
I wish i could tag ol' peg from the zip ties an bias plys channel on here! And stuntman , camera man and junk man from the neutraldrop channel This is some quality burnout material!! The ending is almost just as good! Thats a longgggg 2 tire fire!
also just a suggestion, you should reroute the exhausts pointing at the rear tires so it blows the smoke out the back and if you get it hot enough and hit the limiter and shoot a flame it would catch em on fire lmaooo
Hey bud shown Chevrolet is the heartbeat of America Chevrolet's number one and talk to his to it I am so glad you got a Chevy buddy you make us Americans proud

Valdemar Perez III I used to work at a Michelin/bfgoodrich/uniroyal tire plant and if you punch in the barcode into the computer it will show pretty much who made the tire all the way back to when the raw rubber entered the plant
that Silverado was built by chuck Norris himself, I’m officially convinced
The guy who put the rod bearings in that motor at gm had to have had a mullet a bald eagle on his t shirt and a hangover while smoking a Marlboro red when he put them in hell he probably put that green loctite on the back sides.

They should track down the original owner and have him in a video. Kinda like Cleetus when he had Ruby's previous owner visit the shop.
