USA is probably thinking "Well, if Russia is bombing London, you can pay for our help now". Russia verbally threatens England often when NATO get's too close to Poland. If England wants to rebuild outside of the EEC structure it nedds to remodel the Commonwealth which is largely Ex Africa and Asia Pacific. They may need the old "East India" map again if we have 20 years of war looming. Be smarter next time.

Unfortunately people like this chap hasn't been listened to, the deterioration started during the privatisations of the 1980s and it's been exponential deterioration growth since then. The political and corporate class are on board with vassalage and servitude, as they are now completely corrupt and beyond any form of redemption. The future is vassalage, rather than partnership. It's ownership rather than cooperation and mutual respect. The British have learnt how to bend over and take it, and the shafting will now be forever. It's all about managing decline now.

This can be easily changed especially the software aspect. Make it easy for highly talented people to start some frigging companies in England. Make it easier skilled individuals to move into the country. Pay people more to retain the best talents and let this compound. England needs to run like the Premier League haha!
