I’m grateful to God for delivering me from pornography and masturbation. This is also a very big issue in churches and marriages, when I stopped, the enemies started bringing the images of pornography in my dreams, I fell again and but I was determined to stop and God did it. I have never spoke about this out loud but here I am thanking God for taking absolute control over my life. The thought of letting demons through the door or opening portals through pornography if I continued forced me to stop and let God take control. Trust me God saw my heart, and took control. Thank you Jesus, here I am openly declaring your greatness and power over my life.

I have this discussion more than once with some people around middle of 2023 about how the church needs to pray and figure out how to help people that backslide falling into sin. Chasing them out of the church is not the answer. I dont have the answer but I believe there should be counselling and prayer for those affected. Some genuinely want to return to God but the rejection from the church has pushed them further away from God. May God guide all the churches and the church leadership.

I want to add that it is good for men of God to punish erring workers but it would be a disaster to do so without the love of God! The elders in Yoruba land were so wise that they said when you punish a child with the right hand, you must draw the same child closer with your left hand. While we do not pray that any of our men of God or ministers/workers should fall prey to the devil, we need to remind ourselves that no man is infallible; any man of God, regardless of position, can fall if care is not taken. When this happens, the elders-in-Christ must rise to the occasion and take control with the help of the Holy Spirit. Otherwise, the wounded soldier may recover as a monster who might end up helping the devil to further raise demons among men. Also, the wife should have taken it upon herself to explain things to the pastor. This could have saved the family from the consequential shame and pain. May God save His church from the generation of self-made judges who condemn wounded soldiers in Jesus Christ's Name. However, we soldiers too much take heed; expose our weaknesses to Jesus Christ before the devil exposes us to the world and soil the Name of Christ that we bear. May God help His church. Very Good movie - balanced, edifying and encouraging to the body of christ. I like the fact that the role of the wife was not covered. The pain she went through and almost gave up before she decided to get up and support her husband. Also the fact that she knew the truth and didn't cover her husband in public like most pastors wife do on social media even when they know the truth. Thank God also for his long time campus friend that came up to help him. One question is when the senior asked them as a couple was it wrong if the woman had opened up whether her husband liked it or not? I want to add that it is good for men of God to punish erring workers but it would be a disaster to do so without the love of God! The elders in Yoruba land were so wise that they said when you punish a child with the right hand, you must draw the same child closer with your left hand. While we do not pray that any of our men of God or ministers/workers should fall prey to the devil, we need to remind ourselves that no man is infallible; any man of God, regardless of position, can fall if care is not taken. When this happens, the elders-in-Christ must rise to the occasion and take control with the help of the Holy Spirit. Otherwise, the wounded soldier may recover as a monster who might end up helping the devil to further raise demons among men. Also, the wife should have taken it upon herself to explain things to the pastor. This could have saved the family from the consequential shame and pain. May God save His church from the generation of self-made judges who condemn wounded soldiers in Jesus Christ's Name. However, we soldiers too much take heed; expose our weaknesses to Jesus Christ before the devil exposes us to the world and soil the Name of Christ that we bear. May God help His church. Very Good movie - balanced, edifying and encouraging to the body of christ. I like the fact that the role of the wife was not covered. The pain she went through and almost gave up before she decided to get up and support her husband. Also the fact that she knew the truth and didn't cover her husband in public like most pastors wife do on social media even when they know the truth.
Thank God also for his long time campus friend that came up to help him.
One question is when the senior asked them as a couple was it wrong if the woman had opened up whether her husband liked it or not? I feel she would have saved them of all this if she had spoken up then. May God help us all.
