Hey Sean, Are those boards available in Canada? You and Dan are best youtube duo. I am 42. I skated for years. Relearning again. I tried my 7.75 So scary small. I went to 8 then to 8.50. Set on 8.25. Kickflips are better than ever, heal flips too. Looking for something to hold a large dude. 42, 6"1, 245 lbs. I've broken 3 boards in a month. Have you tried a Flight deck? Did my first crooked grind today. (20 plus tries). I am smiling. That's what matters. Love you Sean. Keep rolling
which boards were you after?? You should try an 8.38 or even an 8.5 if you want stability and comfort! The 8.5 is definitely going to rotate a tad slower on a kickflip compared to an 8.25 but the feeling of more room for your feet is a rad thing I haven’t tried a flight deck but Dan keeps offering me one to try I just don’t know if I would dig the shape lol That’s rad to hear dude! I tried a flight deck my friend owns. The shape is classic. Mellow kicks with mellow concave. Super poppy. I am old school. I had to order one. I was looking for a good 8.125. I am a bigger dog now, I keep cracking boards or wearing them out. I had a back surgery and was on crutches for a long time. I landed 8/10 flat ground kick flips today after work in my office. Right beside my desk. (I keep a board under my desk). I was so pumped. The security cameras have some nice footage of me in a suit landing tricks. 😑
