I was crocheting while watching this and it was so relaxing, like I had met up with a friend and we were having tea and doing our knitting together ❤ I love the Alter Eco chocolate, my favorite is the Créme Brûlée, but the brown butter and burnt caramel sound so good, I will have to try them!
@@army_stay_p1ece 🥹The best compliment! What were you crocheting? Mm the crème brûlée one is so good! I wish more companies made flavored dark chocolate! It seems like they are mostly plain, mint, or orange. And i like trying all the different flavors but less sweet.. let me know what you think of the others! I think they have a similar flavor profile to the crème brûlée but different enough to be worth having them all!🥰
@ I’m attempting a patchwork cardigan! I’m working on some granny squares right now and then I’ll put them together for the cardigan. And I agree, it’s hard to find good flavored dark chocolate. I am not a fan of chocolate and orange together and that seems to be one of the most popular combos.
@ Oo fun! I have some cotton yarn I bought to make a granny square afghan, but I have been trying to find the exact pattern as the inspiration photo. So I haven’t started yet. But I need to just start it… Yeah I am not a big fan of fruit except for fresh fruit. And I don’t like orange chocolate very often either.
❤ My absolute favorite tea is Harney Sons Hot Cinnamon Sunset. 😋😋😋 I used to make a junk food instant spiced tea mix that we loved, but when I replaced white sugar & high fructose corn syrup with natural sweeteners, I couldn't have that not-so-good-for-you treat anymore. 🫣 When my daughter, Lydia, gifted me some Hot Cinnamon Sunset, it reminded me of my spiced tea mix. 😋 I loved it! 😋 But, it was missing something. If I have some fresh lemons & oranges, a little juice squeezed into my cup of Hot Cinnamon Sunset bumps it up a notch & makes it truly a healthy version of my junky treat, but the lemon makes it necessary to add a little maple syrup sometimes, lol! 😋 I know you have reviewed this tea before, so it's nothing new to you, but it's the only one I recommend because when I really like something, I stay with it. 😂
@@tehilla9 Mmm that sounds delicious!! I’ll have to try it that way! 😍Thank you! What all went into your instant tea mix? Di you ever try using cane sugar or maple sugar to sweeten it? I have a few different winter drinks that I love and want to share in a video soon! I do the same thing, when I love a drink I stick to it for a long time! Until I randomly discover something new and only drink that!😂
It’s fun and relaxing if you like to knit or sew to get caught up in it and forget everything else. I can see knitting a relaxing thing especially a way to unwind. Great vlog. Are you guys making cookies? I’m baking and taking treats to a person at church who works at the tag office in our little town of 1,000 or so. She and someone else work there. But one is in our church. The lady from my church grew up here. I don’t know where the other lady grew up with a lady from my church. Bought the place and started working there after high school and been there ever since and she’s about 70. I did not grow up in this town nor did Bruce. I grew up in Nevada and Colorado and Bruce grew up in Colorado.. Now Oklahoma is our home. By the panhandle.
@@debbiealtman5373 Thank you Debbie! Yes it is very relaxing! We haven’t made any cookies lately, but we have a few we would like to make soon! We like to make a German spiced cookie to have with tea. I think mom will be sharing a video of making them! What kind of cookies are you making? That is so neat! Which did you prefer, Nevada or Colorado? I don’t believe I have ever been in either state, unless we happened to drive through. We know several people who live in Colorado or have lived there and it is a gorgeous place! Do you enjoy Oklahoma? I have been there a couple times but very briefly.
@ I made short bread with my cookie press I’ve had for years it’s a hand held put dough in and press out cut outs . I made no bake and Reese’s peanut butter cups and microwave fudge, gave some each thing to our tag office and I’ll take some to the pastor who’s filling in till we get a new pastor here in Buffalo Oklahoma. We have 1,000 people and our town had a pastor but he left early because of bad health issues and can’t work any more. He’s 70 yrs old. I think. Our town is up by panhandle. Out in sticks down in a valley. We drive 34 miles to go to the bigger Walmart in Woodward or 55 miles to Alva ok to that Walmart near where Bruce works, The closer Walmart is a bigger town of 9,000-10,000 and other one has 5,000 And a college town.
@ Wow! They all sound amazing! I have a spritz like cookie maker from the 40’s? Maybe newer.. not sure. That I haven’t used yet but I want to! We used to have to drive about 40 minutes to get to any town with a grocery store. Now we are about 20 minutes away from town. So not bad! But for any kind of bulk shopping or large thrift stores it more like an hour or two. So we just have to be more intentional with our shopping!
