At around 40:00, thanks SO MUCH for explaining how to do the effect rather than direct people to the other video. It's small things like these that make me coming back again and again.
UA-cam needs a super-like-function. That anti-rotation bit at the end to control the shadow was so freaking simple, yet so clever. I love it (like the rest of your videos).
When you’re grabbing all the anchor points on the S and getting them to basically flatten, you can grab all of the ones you want and hit command T to bring a transform box up, then Y scale down that group of points together and flatten. Easier than individually grabbing each one and moving. Love these tutorials you’re doing! Ive been a big after effects nerd for 10 years straight and daily and loving these and actually learning a ton.
Wowwww that was a lot to take in... what a masterclass. I'll definitely come back to watch this video again in a few weeks, especially the second half of the video. Thanks for your efforts!
You're one of the best tutors for aftereffects I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing your skills in word and deed, for free. I hope and pray you get all you deserve in this life and after.
Thank you so much for not justing telling us how to make the stretchy text but also sharing tons of tips and tricks! And thank you for sharing all of these for free! We just need to come here and yoink! What a blessing!
It's so obvious once you know but I didn't and I wasted hours moving path because I didn't know that you can select and cut paths lol. Thank you so much for teaching me. You're a life saver.
Omg this vídeo is intense... so much information, content, and so well explained! I feel like i know nothing of after effects after watching this video, and i will need to watch it more times to absorve all this good content. Thank you so much for sharing all this for free.... you dont see this king of deep content out there.
You can put the text on the center of the screen by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Home (this will centralize the anchor point) and then Ctrl + Home (this will centralize the object to the composition).
THANK YOU!!! TNice tutorials is such an amazing tutorial. I just got soft soft today and was playing around on it but had no clue how to really use it.
thank you Jake! The first part , of animating the stretchy text, is pretty much what I expected. But the stylizing had sooo many great tricks and I learned so much from it!
Thank you Jake! This was a really nice tutorial and got really cool tips like (Flattening shape points, inner shadow technique, keyframe offset technique, long shadows and much more. 😍) Can't wait to see more great stuff. We really love your teaching style. I would also request you for a tutorial on the sound design you did for this animation and also suggest the places we can go that you use for these kind of sound effects and how you manipulate these. Thanks a lot in advance. Keep up the good work. 👍
all the different elents together in a language that is universal. I've seen plenty of DAW tutorials being new, but tNice tutorials is by far the best so
A huge thank you for all the content and amazing knowledge that you put out there Jake, you are a great teacher and you deserve every good thing that happens to you
Love the little detail of you putting your facecam in it's own AE panel Also great tutorial! I would love to see one on how you made your intro in the future.
Great tutorial. I'm really appreciating your content, and how detailed you are about controls. I've learned a ton about the interface from your videos. My one suggestion would be that in the random seed expressions, instead of entering a static frame rate, I would use "posterizetime( TimetoFrames(0.5))” This way if you happened to change the frame rate later, your posterize would be linked to half the frame rate of the comp.
As I have been bing-watching Effects of After Effects series, I often wondered about how you created this. You cool logo animation, too. Thanks for making videos about each! Great stuff, perfectly explained.
I had soft soft for a wNice tutorialle but never actually opened it because it looked too complex. TNice tutorials actually helped quite a bit. i an like for
Splendid tutorial Jake! Concentrating on and showing the entire process, was a great idea as starting from here, becomes easier to start extrapolating and expand to other creative combinations. Awesome lesson! Thank you very much indeed for sharing! ❤
Dude when you added the missing E... most relieving moment of my life...
You have no idea how much more painful it would have been for me to not notice until I was done animating.
Also amazing tutorial as always Jake
You will definitely become the top 1 who makes cracks
man, I just was looking for how you made it, and here it is, a true example of someone who gives all to the community.
19:20 Holy heck that's been an option this whole time?! That alone is gonna save me so much time. Many thanks!

That double click, control click and drag trick for anchor points around 15:00 is so CLUTCH!
omg the double click control to drag all points together is lifechanging 14:32

Music accompaniment is just divine
I love seeing how others tackle an animation and the decisions they made. The flow is complex, but the road was easy. Nice work!
Thanks Jake!
this is like sorcery but explained in such immaculate details
