I call it Southern Rock with a slight Appalachian Bluegrass influence. And yeah, I grew up in the South hearing music like this at the Cumberland Bluegrass Festival which really had all kinds of music and all types of people gettin along and havin a good ol time.

The first time we saw Brown Bird was at Fete when they opened for DM3. Dave opened sitting in a chair, and played this song alone. The place was silent - then the place erupted at the finish. Its one of the experiences you never forget

brown bird is some soul touching music
I call it Southern Rock with a slight Appalachian Bluegrass influence. And yeah, I grew up in the South hearing music like this at the Cumberland Bluegrass Festival which really had all kinds of music and all types of people gettin along and havin a good ol time.

I really wish I had these gems to help me through those times but being on the other side of pain and hearing those words from someone with a profound look on his own future is prolific. The first time we saw Brown Bird was at Fete when they opened for DM3. Dave opened sitting in a chair, and played this song alone. The place was silent - then the place erupted at the finish. Its one of the experiences you never forget
