Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator has been my biggest discovery after trying all high end ones. I had sales people in Sephora ask me what i had on and going to walmart to buy it! Lol its great for dry skin, med coverage, zero scent. I LOVE it!
I agree! I’m 42 and just discovered it. I bought it cause I thought for $5 bucks who cares. I was so happy tho. It’s awesome. Covers just enough and looks great. My new go to.
We’re all so different but your reviews still help make a better decision for choosing a product. Thanks for yet another great Friday foundation review.
I really really appreciate the fact that you go outside!!!!! And, show us. I remember the good old days when, at Nordstroms we were able to take a mirror and go outside to look at our skin under foundation in the 90's. I appreciate the fact that you also show us different hours of the day as well. Believe me it helps. I am turning 50 soon and I am hanging on to keep that lit within glow. Have a great rest of your day and I am happy that I have been following your channel for a while. ❤️
Wow! I felt like I got more than I bargained for with this one! While watching this video, I also scrolled through the comments and couldn't help but notice all the comments/ recommendations for the Wet and Wild Tinted Hydrator! I think it is so cool that a cheaper, much more accessible (to me, anyway!) product seems to outshine these more expensive brands in our community of makeup lovers!
i love the tarte one! took a while to grow on me because it felt greasy at first but i LOVE when i put it over the australian gold, since that is very drying on me by itself. together, they leave a perfect finish with light coverage. it’s my perfect combo :)
Thank you Angie, this was perfect. I am 70 (don't feel like it) and don't go out a lot these day with the new variant but love makeup. I wear makeup for me, makes me feel good. I will give the tinted moisturizers a try. You introduced me to the tinted sunscreens. Love them. I will use the sunscreen for my makeup most of the time. Always look forward to your videos. ☺
As always, you provide the best information. I can’t possibly tell you how much your tips and recommendations have helped me and improved my 70-year old skin. I think of you every time I sit (and startle our dog) with my Omnilux mask,or use your *amazing* brushes. I’m also enjoying my Agency skincare. Thank you for your thorough research and reviews I can always trust! I continue to be a fan girl, Lovely Angie!

I love it! The Tarte tinted Maracuja moisturizer I’ve been using it for over a year now. I’m over 50 as well and it leaves my skin looking very natural and the color is perfect as well.
I’ve tried so many bc I don’t like heavy or full coverage foundation. My favorite by far is the wet n wild tinted hydrator. It melts into the skin and provides more coverage than I was expecting. Also it worked with my skincare and sunscreen. Beautiful really.
Everyone loves that one except me. I may re-buy it and give it a second chance. But it was thick and modeled and bunched up around eyebrows. It was just a goopy mess. Would you mind shaing what sunscreen you use? I'm wondering if that was my issue. 🤔
Angie, I totally agree with your take on the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. It used to be a holy grail product for me, then they changed the formula. It doesn’t blend well, highlights every pore and line, and doesn’t evenly cover. I’ll never understand why companies change cult-favorite-status products, but sadly, they did. Thanks for your in-depth reviews. So grateful for your time and commitment to transparency and helping us all age beautifully!
Angie, I bought the Tarte Maracuja in the Sephora sale and I LOVE IT. It’s sits beautifully on my 63 year old combo skin and has the most beautiful, subtle glow and lasts all day, over 8 hours. Thank you for finding my new holy grail skin tint. I’ll be wearing it all summer thanks to you!
Yes, I always wear a dedicated sunscreen just like Angie taught us! I wear it over both physical and chemical sunscreens and have not had any issues. Two years later, I still love the Tarte tinted sunscreen
Angie, I am so happy you decided to start your channel. I began following you two years ago and my skin has been transformed! I will be 43 in April; I feel more confident now than I did in my 20s & 30s. I honestly never thought I would have the confidence to go out without makeup, let alone to the office! I was more than happy to share everything I have learned and who I learned it from 🤗. Thank you once again for trying out all these products. The one that still works for me and has stood the test of time is the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue tinted moisturizer. It also blends perfectly with the Australian Gold tinted sunscreen spf 50 I find for me and my 57 yr. old skin it blend the best with that sunscreen. I like it better with the Australian Gold then the Elta MD UV tinted sunscreen. Thanks again for another informative videp.

Angie, thanks again for your reviews on these products. I wanted to put in a request for a future topic. I’m in my 50’s and starting to wear make-up again. I’ve been enjoying playing with eye shadows and mascara…..got stumped with eyeliner. Made a mess the 1st time I tried to apply it above the lashes. Would love a review of different kinds of liners (liquid vs. pencil), best products you’ve used, how to pick proper colors to go with your make-up and different ways to use liner on your eyes. Thanks Angie!
You are so right that every skin is different. I wear the Laura Mercier every day and I love it, at least I thought I did. 😊 I do wear it over a mineral sunscreen, however I don’t check it much throughout the day. I will now! I’ll also try one of your top pics to see if I like it better. Thank you for always providing such an in depth review!

Can’t beat the bare minerals complexion rescue in my case, and the wet n wild tinted hydrator is excellent, gives a less glossy finish and slightly more cover than the bare minerals. Cheaper too!
My favourite is the NARS. I know it’s a bit more spendy but my skin loves it and it can replace foundation for me! I’m 59 and also trashed my skin in my youth. Now that I’ve amped up my skincare regimen and wear sunscreen every day, my skin is better than when I was in my 40’s. Replaced several of my Skinceuticals products with your recommendations so thanks for saving me some $$ 😊
I did not enjoy and did not see any benefits of Skinceuticals C, E & Ferulic acid after 2 bottles. It was irritating, felt gross on application and smelled like bologna.
I really love the Wet and Wild tinted hydrator. It’s very inexpensive, but I would buy it even if it did cost more than it does. Thanks for another great video!
I love the MyChelle sunscreen and the Bliss tinted sunscreen for low key days. My skin is protected and looks great. I think these two have better coverage than many tinted moisturizers I’ve tried. I’ll have to try the Tarte though. Looks very nice.
@@DC-pr2bq I have a pink tint too and the color works well for me too. I also have dry skin and was worried the matte finish would it be dry on me but I haven’t found that to be the case.

You REALLY need to try the Wet and Wild tinted hydrator, it's surprisingly an excellent product with a good amount of pigment and wear. I'm oily and I love it!
Great video. I happened on an awful gossip site that has some negative things to say about Angie and it reminded me how ugly gossip is, surprised me that there is a site committed to it, and me feel sorry for the women who spend time posting there. Gosh, they should find something kind and constructive to do instead. Angie’s videos are super helpful to me (60 years old) and I appreciate her calm low-key presentation.
Hi Angie I love your reviews, unlike other highend you tubers you are honest if you don’t like it you say so. Other you tubers say I love it I can’t live without it when the product is extremely expensive. I wish you reciew high end products and give us your honest opinion as always, I don’t think product is the best when it is high in price because I bought lots of highend products and some of them are not good for the price.
I use Strivectin blurring primer under the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in 0N1. I am 64 yo and have normal to dry skin. I don’t use powder as every on I’ve tried makes my skin look and feel dry. I love this combination, the color is a perfect match and the spf is fine for me as I don’t spend much time outdoors (I’m disabled). Always good to hear what works for others!
Wow! The Tarte Maracujá Tinted Hydrator really looked fantastic on you! In the sun it just looked like your skin but better (even skin tone and smoothing)- it really looked wonderful! Great product for you! Thank you for the video!
Thank you for the review! I feel that if I want a no makeup day I'm happy with the Color Science sunscreen. It's a perfect color and texture and looks like a light foundation on me :)
I looooooove tinted moisturizers and skin tint! If your looking for more my absolute fave at the moment is the new Tower 28 drops!! Great GREAT video as always, Angie!!! So professional and well done!!! And ya look gorgeous too!!🥰🥰🥰
I just bought Tower drops the other day per the salesperson at Sephora’s recommendation . So far I’m loving it! I have so many of these tinted moisturizers 😬 I also like the blush made by Tower that can be used as lip color
A super helpful product test video as always! Thanks for including the insight about how the Tarte product performed with a face mask on for a few hours.
I love your simple eye makeup in then second video. Would love to see a tutorial. I always find CC creams to be so dry going on. I end up trying to combine them w moisturizer, but it never works out. Very much like the Laura Mercier results you got. Glad it’s not just me.
Hi Angie! We are the same age and I love your videos. Please try the Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator. It is unexpectedly soooo nice. It's beautiful on my less than perfect skin, offers decent coverage and lasts a pretty long time. The best part is that it's only $6.
I so appreciate the tinted moisturizer tests you do as I just need to cover a few reddish spots here and there. Your eye makeup, during the Honest test, stood out for me. Gorgeous! I love the shape of your eyes. Until next week…have a great week, Angie! XO
I have been searching for the perfect tinted moisturizer. Your recommendation was great! I ordered the Tarte Maracula and love it! It blends so well and looks natural. Thanks so much for your advice!
I think you read my mind ! Exactly the topic I’ve been contemplating lately. Not a foundation girl anymore. What’s important to my 53 y.o. skin is a clean product, leaves a radiant healthy glow, medium coverage, simple to apply, and provides the highest spf possible ! Lots of sunshine here, so I reapply in the afternoon and use my brush on spf. Looking forward to even more reviews !
I just want to thank you for doing what you do!!! Aging is not easy or fun! You have really become my go-to reviewer!!!!! Thanks for being so honest, thorough, detailed and vulnerable! You’re the bomb! I know if we met in real life we would be brunch buddies!!! You rock! (PS I’m turning 51 this year and it’s not an easy transition. You make aging look AMAZING) ❤️
Thank you for this! I've used Laura Mercier for a while (a mix of normal and oil-free tinted moisturizers) but I definitely want to try Tarte's tinted moisturizer as well. I'm a big fan of Tarte's makeup.
Thank you for being so picky! You look gorgeous even with the ones you hated. Got my BK Beauty Angie brushes and COVID, so cannot wait to test them out once I get to get out of the house. They feel so soft!
Loved this. Right now my favorite tinted moisturizer for my more mature skin is the Urban Decay Hydromaniac Tinted Glow. It looks great, has medium coverage and lasts!! I hope they don’t reformulate like some brands randomly decide to do. I’m looking at you Dior.😝
@@paulakay4398 in the summer I use it over a mattifying primer from MAC. In the winter it’s perfect. I usually don’t even powder. But you can if you want a little less glow later in the day and it knocks it back without killing it.
Both the Milk and Tarte tinted moisturizers looked very pretty with setting powder. I want the black and white jacket you had on when checking the Clinique tinted moisturizer!! Love it!
Just ❤️your videos yeah that tarte mostrizer is my favorite too! They have shape take concealer I love too! You would also love the urban decay tinted mostrizer too! I’m 54 ! You look amazing in all your videos too!!! Love all your recommendations ! You would love skinn products too from HSN !!!

I love the Tarte Maracuja hydrator! I am 60 years old and have normal to dry less then perfect skin 😉! I have repurchased this and I rarely repurchase. I like to try new products. This looks really good on my skin. Thanks for reviewing!
I love the Tarte maracuja tinted hydrator too! It's the only base product I've ever truly loved. I have super dry skin and it really moisturizes and doesn't get flaky all day. Plus the beautiful finish and staying power... It's perfection! I've heard the wet n wild one is a dupe and I'm going to try that after I finish my current tube of the Tarte.
GREAT video! I have been on the hunt for a great tinted moisturizer that doesn't make me look like an oil slick!! I LOVE the other maracuja products as well--the lippie is FANTASTIC!
I believe you and I have the exact same skin color, and want to thank you for years of not having to think twice when picking foundation shades. You've saved me so much time AND money💖
I can't recall how I came to buy the Tarte maracuja skin tint, but I was so pleased that it was available in a mini size as well as the full size. I started out with the mini and managed to pick up the full size during an Ulta sale last Summer/Autumn. At 52 I have to say I love the dewy finish this product gives, and over the past few months I've acquired some of the newer serum and skin tints. I plan to try them out in a comparison sort of order: the L'oreal serum foundation, Misscha Bb cream, Urban Decay's newest tinted skin hydrator, and the Tarte maracuja tint. Great video!
I’m still using a tinted moisturizer you reviewed and recommended years ago, Australian Gold spf 50.. I mix it w regular spf on no makeup days, or a Beautypie tinted primer w a drop or two of foundation mixed in. Looks amazing. We are the same age. You look beautiful. Great vid. I won’t be trying any of these. Glad you did. Thank you.
I love the Laura Mercier. I don’t have any problems with it being used with other makeup. You may want to try the oil free. It does have more coverage.
It is so hard to find a foundation or tinted moisturizer for women over 50. You made me laugh today, "I just don't like it!" LOL!!!!! Thank you Angie. I always appreciate your reviews. I have been using Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Fawn since my early 30's. I am now 67 almost 68. I still like it. It doesn't do any of the things it does to you. But I never put an SPF under it. In the old days, I just used a moisturizer and then applied the tinted foundation, sometimes in a hurry no moisturizer at all. I think it is not playing well with your skin care products. I do not know why it works so well on my skin. But I will give the Tarte's tinted moisturizer a try. Thanks you for this review.
Happy Friday Angie. Just want to say you are so naturally pretty-less makeup looks great on you! I think tinted moisturizers are the way to go. I’ve been using the Laura Mercier product, but will now try the Tarte formula. Thx for the informative video.
I wasn't loving the Maracuja Tarte skin tint over the summer so I've been using either the ILIA skin tint or Wet & Wild tinted hydrator (for only $5 it's the best out there, in my opinion, and I prefer using it over the Tarte and ILIA!) I just ordered Jaclyn Hills blurring skin tint and I'm excited to try it! I'm also going to try the Tarte Maracuja again now that it's winter and maybe try setting it with another setting powder to see if I like it any better! Thank you for always reviewing products so we don't have to waste money trying them only to find we don't care for them!
Tarte is such a great brand. I enjoy many of their products. Im currently trying the Neutrogena but after reading comments I'm going to try the Wet & wild. I rarely need a full foundation but I like something to give light coverage that will even out skintone & hide redness. Thanks Angie!
I recently discovered the Tarte Maracuja and LOVE IT. I dropped the Tarte Amazonian Clay BB a couple years ago because the shades changed to a more orangey and stopped matching my skin tone - the Maracuja solution is the perfect replacement since it has Neutral shades to choose from. Thanks as always for your thorough reviews. Even though we have diff skin, I always look to your reviews for input to my purchasing decisions.
Going to try the Tarte for my 90 yo mom. She had a tinted moisturizer from who knows when but they don’t make it any longer. Now, at 90, she can’t even deal with the pump dispensers, so I hope she will love (and be able to use) the Tarte since it’s in a tube!
Thank you so much, Angie. I have been trying to pinpoint what the culprit is when applying layered products & end up with pilling & flaking. This is helpful to me for figuring that out.😊 I do like the Bare minerals tinted cream....called Complexion Rescue.
@@momof5wingingitomaof5lovin56 Wake up, cleanse face, apply first round of skin care (actives and tinted moisturizer). Get dressed, make coffee/tea/OJ/water, check your phone, go to the bathroom, get dressed - that's at least 15 minutes. Then move on to next round of skin care application - sunscreen.
Thank you so much for this! I have been trying several tinted moisturizers. I tried the Laura Mercier one because it was so highly rated. Did not care for it at all. I will try the Tarte for sure, and maybe the Milk one too, we’ll see how the Tarte does first.
I will buy the Tart product. Thank you for testing this! Paula’s Choice used to have a Tinted Moisturizer I loved, but they discontinued it! Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid twice a day makes my pores very nearly disappear. At the very least they are super clean.
Angie, great informative video. I will try the Tarte. And thank you for braving the harsh temperatures❄ to show how these products really look. outside.
Interesting results. I tried Milk Sunshine on your recommendation and really like it! I used to love LM tinted moisturizer but it seemed the formula changed several years ago and it started to feel more like sanded joint compound 😅. My current favorite skin tint is Chanel Les Beiges. It requires buffing in with a brush but it's beautiful. In all 4 seasons. It looks impossibly dark in the bottle but it's lovely once applied. Thanks for doing the hard work for us!

You look so pretty here, Angie!! Appreciate all your information you provide!
I have so many of these tinted moisturizers 😬
I also like the blush made by Tower that can be used as lip color
A super helpful product test video as always! Thanks for including the insight about how the Tarte product performed with a face mask on for a few hours.
I love your simple eye makeup in then second video. Would love to see a tutorial. I always find CC creams to be so dry going on. I end up trying to combine them w moisturizer, but it never works out. Very much like the Laura Mercier results you got. Glad it’s not just me.
I agree the Tarte tinted hydrator looks beautiful on you. Right now I'm loving the Milani Glow hydrating skin tint.
If you like the Milani glow skin tint you'll LOVE Wet & Wild Tinted Hydrator! It's my favorite hands down!
@@paulakay4398 I have that one too. I need to get another shade though, it looks a little orange on me.
Angie makes the best product comparison videos… that’s for sure!
Please keep them coming! Turning 60 tomorrow! Yikes! You are right behind me! Thanks for helping all of us!
Can you please also try the Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator? Thanks!
Hi Angie! We are the same age and I love your videos. Please try the Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator. It is unexpectedly soooo nice. It's beautiful on my less than perfect skin, offers decent coverage and lasts a pretty long time. The best part is that it's only $6.
Ha Ha! I suggested the same thing for Angie to try! At Walmart I paid under $5 and I'm on my 3rd tube since trying it last year! Love it!
I just went n bought it so cheap but looks so nice n natural for summer. Thank u😊
Loved the Tart with the setting powder. Great video.
I love your videos so helpful! And I appreciate you take the time to answer comments from your subscribers. It says a lot about your kindness!
Oh wow!! I was so happy to see the winner, I actually just started using the Tarte one 3 days ago!! Thanks Angie, for your in depth trials!
Loved this. Right now my favorite tinted moisturizer for my more mature skin is the Urban Decay Hydromaniac Tinted Glow. It looks great, has medium coverage and lasts!! I hope they don’t reformulate like some brands randomly decide to do. I’m looking at you Dior.😝
That is on my wish list after I run out of my Tarte MYH
I hope to try this one after I first try the new Jaclyn Hill blurring skin tint I just ordered! Is it real glowy?
@@paulakay4398 in the summer I use it over a mattifying primer from MAC. In the winter it’s perfect. I usually don’t even powder. But you can if you want a little less glow later in the day and it knocks it back without killing it.
came here to say the same thing
Both the Milk and Tarte tinted moisturizers looked very pretty with setting powder. I want the black and white jacket you had on when checking the Clinique tinted moisturizer!! Love it!
So grateful you show close ups
Just ❤️your videos yeah that tarte mostrizer is my favorite too! They have shape take concealer I love too! You would also love the urban decay tinted mostrizer too! I’m 54 ! You look amazing in all your videos too!!! Love all your recommendations ! You would love skinn products too from HSN !!!
Oh my gosh, I hate it when a makeup or moisturizer gets under my nails too! Thank you so much for all you do for us gals! I love your videos!
I love the Tarte one❤️
I'm hoping you do a review of the Smashbox halo one!!
You look better in the before than after with the clinic. I love that you do these videos! You never steer me wrong.
*I also love your dogs when they're in the background of your videos🐾
I love the Tarte Maracuja hydrator! I am 60 years old and have normal to dry less then perfect skin 😉! I have repurchased this and I rarely repurchase. I like to try new products. This looks really good on my skin. Thanks for reviewing!
I learned of Sephora Collection tinted moisturizer from you a while back and still use it. I love that stuff!
Your reviews are always clear and fair. I loved this one as I am not wearing foundation much these days. Thank you!!
I just bought the Milani Glow skin tint & so far I do like the way it looks on my oily mature skin.
I believe you and I have the exact same skin color, and want to thank you for years of not having to think twice when picking foundation shades. You've saved me so much time AND money💖
I just started watching and am blown away by those necklaces!!! Can you please share where to buy? Love them!
This saved me some $$! Would love a review of the Jones Road line!
Thank you.
Same!
I have ALWAYS loved the TARTE Maracuja Hydrator. That is my go to tinted moisturizer. I’m so glad that was your pick!! 👏👏👏
I’ll have to try the Tarte one. You are so beautiful!
Ooooh, the Tarte looks so good! Definitely the winner.
Thank you so much for the time YOU spent for us !!! Excellent video, best wishes !!
Thank you Angie for all this info. Thank you to everyone for sharing their views.
Tarte is such a great brand. I enjoy many of their products. Im currently trying the Neutrogena but after reading comments I'm going to try the Wet & wild. I rarely need a full foundation but I like something to give light coverage that will even out skintone & hide redness.
Thanks Angie!
Angie ! Can you test out the New CT foundation please!!!!! Love you Channel Thank you for all that you do !!!!!!🥰
I recently discovered the Tarte Maracuja and LOVE IT.
You need to allow time for products to soak in before applying another. 15-30 minutes.
Same problem for meee pilling
@@violetviolet888 30 mins? I usually don't have time 4 that. ;(
@@momof5wingingitomaof5lovin56 Wake up, cleanse face, apply first round of skin care (actives and tinted moisturizer). Get dressed, make coffee/tea/OJ/water, check your phone, go to the bathroom, get dressed - that's at least 15 minutes. Then move on to next round of skin care application - sunscreen.
Bare Minerals tinted moisturizer is a new discovery for me. Plays well with other products. Good color range.
Thank you so much for this! I have been trying several tinted moisturizers. I tried the Laura Mercier one because it was so highly rated. Did not care for it at all. I will try the Tarte for sure, and maybe the Milk one too, we’ll see how the Tarte does first.
I love the tarte too. They have a great shade range too.
This was great seeing several tests together!! Thanks for the compilation.
Read my mind Angie! Really needed the help to find a good simple tinted moisturizer.
