Ten might not be the most powerful strongest vocalist, but there something about his voice is very captivating and he really executed his line very very well. I love his part tge most for most of the time in a song, and he actually did the backing track a lot that people don't know it was his voice.

Exactly! You described the lyrics very accurately. And so we have my favorite moment in the Phantom MV when Hendery remove many masks one by one.

WayV are having a hard time, they haven't had a comeback for a long time (almost 2 years), but they were able to enter the tops and charts with a new album. Please react to their Dimonds only track video and all songs from the album. Especially i like Good life (it's such a power pop kinda like Ten's and Yangyang's Low Low).

Ten's song Birthday
That was the Phantom of the Opera Throne, the chandelier on the ceiling then on the ground, the stage, the fog underground tunnel, flying knives, military finger knuckles ready for war, etc it’s all related to that Opera. The world is a stage and so is the world’s judgement of lies vs. the truth against them. “All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages.” ~ William Shakespeare. What you heard was Xiaojun’s long range followed up by Ten’s high squeal pitch voice. That was Ten, the eye was Ten. You should see Ten’s Birthday video, it’s a killer. He’s also wearing military armored gear. Very renaissance just like the Phantom of the Opera.

WayV hasn't released any albums or mini albums in more than a year. They've done things with other NCT members, Ten was doing a dance show in China, I believe Winwin was doing a TV show as well, Yangyang released a Shawn Mendes cover, Lucas has been on hiatus (miss him), Kun has been working on getting more perfect, and Hendery has been being awesome wherever he goes. So this comeback has been a long time coming and it was worth the wait.
Pls check out Ten-Birthday, he is on another level.

Hahaha, everyone has a vocal king. Mine is XIAOJUN. His voice makes WayV unique. It's like WayV's label. Very impressive and that's not only due to his high notes. It's about the range, timbre, emotion. Like WayV, XIAOJUN is also unfairly underrated although he's seen as one of the 3 best vocalists in NCT(alongside Taeil and Doyoung). Many times when he's singing his lines, the cameraman is focusing on another member so people have no idea that is XIAOJUN the one who is singing those lines. I hope more and more people will appreciate him
I recommend you watch ' [LeemujinService] EP.15 NCT, WayV XIAOJUN | Make A Wish, Ashes, End of a Day, Thinking Out Loud ' and you'll understand what I'm talking about. He's a real singer

Xiaojun is the one who belted out that awesome high note, followed up by Ten with yet another high note! ♥️ Xiaojun ♥️ is the most beautiful, yet under-rated vocalist (plus he's GORGEOUS) & has basically been hidden in the back....but it's his time to shine in 2023!!! That man has visuals that can compare/even at times surpass Taeyhung of BTS...and that's saying a LOT!! Can't wait to see what WayV has in store for us in this come back album!!!

I want to recommend you to check out the English ver. of Phantom on the music show. The English lyrics is a bit different from original translation. Also, the whole album is a non-skip, all b-sides are so good. Finally, Thanks for love TEN voice, please check his latest release 'Birthday' too. You will be mesmerized.

Wayv always fascinates me. A champion gymnast, a classical/traditional dance top student, a producer/engineer/chef/pilot…..
Where was the the “Kpop” in these guys??? (Oh right they’re not technically lol 😂)
But oh my word could we be more different in song preferences!!!
I LOOOOOVE the moody “Jumanji” thing it’s got goin on, and hearing them lean into their smooth deeper tones (a genetic gift that only belongs to the privileged minority). But it loses me at all the “climactic” high staccato vocals. I hate performing them too (back in my symphony days). They’re not easy to pull off and the vocal exercise for it was very fitting. No joke, we spent rehearsals practicing by barking like small dogs without moving our mouthes.
