The Can-am Headache Rack for your Defender is a great add-on accessory, since it protects your rear window from being cracked or broken by loads in the bed that shift forward. In this video, we’ll get one assembled and installed on the Defender.
We’ll start by using a rivet gun to secure rubber stops on the rack, and then we’ll switch over to the unit itself. We’ll use a template to drill the holes for the supports, get the supports bolted in, and then bring the rack over. From there, we’ll hand-tighten our mounting bolts to make sure we have everything lined up before we torque everything down.
