Currently 30% off so it's only a very nice 69 cents! Also, hard to tell with the editing but looks like unlocking a bit mine doesn't actually activate it, you have to invest at least once into the +bit (which unlocks the +speed) before it'll actually start mining.
@Clip_It1 and nothing about the comment suggested OP was a bot either, difference is that your comment had no excuse to exist 😅 not to mention your answer made no sense, acting as if words were put in your mouth lol. Feels like you just had a bad day and decided the power of internet anonymity would be your weapon of choice 😆
Absolutely blown away when I realised this actually wasn't made by the same dev as Nodebuster which you played a little while ago. The aesthetics and gameplay are so similar I instantly assumed they must have been the same dev. I love this niche subgenre or retro arcade incremental games with insane value for money haha
it's amazing how such a simple game can be so entertaining, isn't it? (devs who focus on putting blur effects and overbright textures into every game should take notice)
"The % probably only works off the base value" 2 min later: "The higher my damage is, the higher the % increase!" What we just witnessed was not a conflict of information, but rather the long lost engineering power of selective math, the power to make math give the result YOU want! 😂
I played and bought this game recently! I actually made a discussion to see if the dev would be willing to do workshop support, and he said he'd check it out! Very happy to see more ppl playing this lovely game
You gotta fly into the middle of the bundles, that way while you are shooting 1 your rotating bullets are hitting the ones around you, by stopping short you are wasting soo much DPS on nothing. Also it makes zero sense to go for the 30 pinks first, buying the first few lvls in the Octo would end up paying out more then what you gained by going for the purple first
5% = 1 in 20, so for the same price that's the cut off. If the percent increase is half the price, it would be when you have 10 bits per minute (BPM) if a quarter the price, 5 BPM is the cut off.
So... coming in blind, this feels like it's Nodebusters meets Asteroids... which isn't a bad thing, but a quick search shows it's by a different dev. Also, it is part of Steam's Winter Sale, so at 30% off, it was $0.69 to us Americans. ---- Anyone else mishear the sponsor of this video as Castle Drills instead of Castle Duels? Now I want a castle drilling game...
19:56 Well most likely they're doing a percentage of the original figure after it's increased rather than the current figure or it's covered by exaggeration
I watched the first two minutes of the video, checked out the game on Steam, and saw that it was only 0.69€. I bought it right away, and 3.6 hours later, it was done! It sounds like a short enjoyment. However, 0.69€ for more than 3.5 hours of playtime is worth it, IMO.
The last 3 bit mines aren't doing anything because all you did was buy them then forget about them. You have to turn them on first with the 1st upgrade
This game is a remake of the very first vectorial game, asteroid , and it is now in public domain, which explains how cheap it is . Not much developement and no royalties.
@@RealCivilEngineerGaming And in many cases it's true. But with this genre, especially since there's no story, it's practically like playing the same game.

YAY
stop making me spend money!
(i dont like this video) WATCH DAILY DOSE OF INTERNET
One day Matt will learn to read the information on the screen.
Today is not that day.
(Chance to freeze ENERGY)
yea lol mans cant read lolol, typical engineer
Ot that unlocking the mine doesn't automatically start mining from it.
Nah even when he reads it out loud he still forgets so hard that he might as well not have read it
IF he could pay any attention to anything in a game then a lot of beavers would still be alive and well

"Nice!"
This game somehow strongly reminds me of "Nodebuster", which Matt played like two months ago...
i think it's a carbon copy, even uses the same currency names and has the same screen effects
It appears to be the exact same game but the with a movement and bullet mechanic instead of the cursor over the blobs.
I was about to say about this😂

It is made by the same dev but using a different name; it's so that you "appreciate" small devs, I've used the same tactic once or twice before
*Can't find astroids - doesn't increase spawn rate lol. Great vid, I'd love to see episode 2!

Should be playing Cyberpunk 2077 and reviewing the absolute insanity of the city design.
Just get his "Bridge Review" Intro and play it on a loop.
Crazy to think that Asteroids came out in 1979, and there are still clone games being made of it.
What's crazy is that it is now 30% off. It's like Monu saw your video and was terrified of incoming revenue.

Matt out shopping for holiday gifts for his editors, instead gets game for himself and gives editors more work. Classic RCE.
Neat little game, I wish I could afford 0,99€. Oh look, it's on sale! 0,69€, what a steal!
Nice 👌😆

17:11 Well you do keep letting the third bullet go off to the side instead of hitting the red asteroid
Isn't it just asteroids from the arcade halls, but a new version.
Merry bridgemas everyone!🎉
A game i think is criminally underrated is one called “Medieval Blacksmith” its really good maybe one day our favorite Engineer can give it a try!
Anyone else getting nostalgia for Little Britain every time Matt said 'bitty', or just me?
We tried to add the meme clip but there's full on nipple in it 😅

It's on sale, £0.62p now, what a bargain!

Paddy made it on "Daily Dose of Internet" today!!!
You should play ball crushing simulator. It’s just a blank white room smashing spheres with incremental upgrades. But it has a funny name.
That indie game looks cool!
"We're rolling in bits"
That's oddly on brand for Matt
It only costs 62p (in proper money) right now! :)
This one is before a major pacing update that makes the game less grindy and adds some new power ups

ABI-DOS for 66 English pence is the best sale item at the moment. Very solid Zach-like puzzle game!
You'll use less energy if you shoot from a stationary position instead of zooming in circles around the astroid.
Deep space cache is on sale atm. 30% off, so it's not $1, it's .69 cents (nice)
I love rolling the dice with cheap and bargain games on Steam. I've played some cheap indie games that were more fun than 3A titles.
Matt: This game needs an antagonist to steal resources.

Mats editors: _instead of a game, am I being paid now?_
Did anyone notice you have to get the first upgrade for the mine, or they don't produce bits?
When he unlocked the last 3, they weren't producing.
No, “hello, fellow engineers” at the beginning, sounds like architect behaviour to me
Deep Space Cache is currently on sale for $0.69
