This is really lovely that you do this regularly! So great that you take joy in the simple things. I grew up camping with my family at times in the forest and mountains of the Western part of the United States but the way you make camping is like a home away from home. It's so cozy and inviting. What country are you camping in? The surroundings are beautiful.

Out in the back 20 acres with my kids. 2 German Boxers for alert and tenting it. Learning what I learned from their Great Grandfather. Wife was not into this at all. She would show up in four wheel drive though to check up on us! =) My .40 Ruger and the .303 long gun and Dogs and a whole cooler full of edibles made for a good couple days just spending quality time. Eat this in a pinch but not this. This makes a Tea this makes a Tunic. What happens when this happens...Shelter Water Food. 3 weeks without food 3 days without water and I will know and find yer sorry ass as I told my babies who know have made their own babies. So goes the cycle. Two things I can take to my Grave. My Pride and the knowledge that my kids and Grandkids could survive.
