Hello guys, just come across your videos for the first time and must say i enjoy them so i subscribed, I'm backtracking through your previous ones, a lot to catch up with. The Stabies are a great boat, good choice.
Hey guys great purchase. For future considerations, once you recoup some $$, think about swapping out trailer.. Reason being the type of travel you will be doing, the Dumbier won't stand up to exposure to saltwater without plenty of fresh water flushing it out everytime it goes in the salt. Salt sticks inside box channel steel and quickly rust out from inside out. You don't want it falling apart when remote. Consider a H/D aluminium or galvanised c channel construction. Cheers
Hey thanks for your thoughts, that's some really good insight - cheers! In an ideal world we would have got an off-road trailer when we ordered the boat but as I'm sure you know they are bloody $$. Any brands you would recommend?
Congrats on the new boat! It would have been to see Jacq on the tiller for a while! Sitting at the bow is a rougher ride as well. You might want to check out a fellow Aussie UA-camr called Rokit as he has a similar boat that he sometimes sleeps on under a tarp that he's set up.
You bring us amazing videos that just make me shake my head in disbelief, where you go and what you catch, these videos are so good,so good on you for splashing out.
Do you have the 95SV? We just went with the GT56-TM tranny, thought about upgrading to the next one up but from my understanding you then loose some of the side/down scan capabilities.
Well done guys I have the same boat from the same dealer … Tony is such a great guy and aftermarket service is amazing I’ve done a couple of mods but wanted to keep it simple … put a bilge in ! I just did
@ I’m going to put flooring in too as it gets to hot and glarey….. going to get deck armour to make me a pice and send down and install myself or look at what forms sign can do for diy ….. I also put a watersnake 65 on its works a treat and is really good value for money …. Pulling in an anchor rope has hairs on it!!!
Congratulations on your new boat it's a beauty i would love one myself. If you're heading to sa before January 20th give me a buzz and we're catch up for a beers.😊
Sick boat, will be perfect for towing around the country! Only thing I’d be changing is that trailer. Seen plenty of trailers like that up the Kimberly in pieces when we were up there this year🫣
Congrats guys stabis are good yous should check out matt watsons ultimate fishing hes go through how he set his up for all different fishing, best bit i seen was cast bar at the front, love to get one of these but also been looking at these second hand seajay 460 ranger, cant wait to see some more videos with the stabi
Just had a look at his vids then, that lean post is epic, will have to get one sorted I recon. We were also thinking a 460 ranger! They are well built boats
@@jamesnjacqdriftin Yes be awesome boat up there. I do not mean to be mean, but Maybe that trailer needs beefing up a bit to do them trips up north, Maybe Needs military wrap springs at least,
@@craigtomkinson2837 ha nothing mean about that! Hopefully we will have a new off-road trailer sorted by the time we hit Perth next year, just trying to sort out the $$. Worse case we can beef up this one and see how long it lasts 😅
