- I've been waiting for this moment all year, and finally I can take a steam bath in my forest sauna for the first time. I need to do a few more things to consider the sauna completely finished, including the shower room, sink and installing a shower head with pump.
The sauna heats up quickly and reaches 80 degrees Celsius without too much wood, and the stone retains heat throughout the day.
Winter is over, the air temperature is above +5 degrees, so I concreted the foundation for my new large log house. I'm glad that the first project is almost finished and I can start building my dream home in which my family and I can live and practice forest farming. The next step is to install the main oak logs that will hold the oak beams that I cut at my sawmill. You can see all this in the next video.

That is so good to hear. It is nice to think of you by your fireplace after a long day of work and a sauna reading our comments. Then we can have a bit of our lives out there in the woods with you and your dog. Believe it or not you are also inspiring us out here. I live in the middle of a big metro area, but I am retired and doing more painting now, so in a way I imagine I am out in nature because I might as well be. Watching other artisans helps keep me on track to work every day to make things that nobody is clamoring for but me. It feels good to make things and find that they are wanted. God bless you too. 🐶🏡🙂

Such a frank display of mental health in action. I need a house with sauna, I set about building what I need. Society manufactures high quality components I need so I go get them and put them in place. Life is good. What more could anyone ask for. I sincerely wish my ancestors had stayed put in Scandinavia and we had been passed down a healthy lifestyle demonstrated here. So relaxing. I can barely imagine living like this.

@@annbell8748 Of course he has a gf, he just doesn't show her or his family on camera. He's just a normal healthy nice young man and probably lives in an apartment during the week plus has a job and social life. But is just really good at bushcraft somehow 😂

My sister loves to read at night she cancer three times and was in remission for a while but now for the fourth time it’s back and there’s nothing they can do anymore but she still loves to read. I’m sorry for a bit of bad news she and I love to watch you and others build I wish I could do that but I’m to old now but it’s nice to dream right. While you’re young keep going no matter any saids ok the cabin is awesome .🥰

If i were you Bjorn, as early as possible i will transfer that small tree beside on one of your foundation for the new cabin as it will give you problems in the future when that tree grows. The tree is very close to the foundation. Just a piece of advise.

I just love to watch your videos. I am glad that you put in a basket of Himalayan salt & the dried herbs, as well as your birch leaves, in your lovely sauna. This will be very beneficial to your good health. Are you going to put a plunge tub outside? You could use a galvanized water trough. You have a wonderful life out in the forest. Are you going to build a root cellar for your vegetables and where you can store your smoked meat & fish? I look forward to seeing what you're going to do next.😁

I know you’ve probably thought of it as well- an outdoor kitchen , to surround your gazebo, and fireplace/ pizza oven / oven in one , so with your family/ friends you have get-togethers 🎉; I know you are creative, maybe a fishpond with baby fish 🐟/ a small lake / swans and couple of ducklings 🐥
