Got an EVGA Hybrid SC2 1080Ti (that one with an AIO for a cooler) for around $400 since where I'm from a used 2080 super costs around $600 while 2080 Ti's are selling for $800 to $900, and at the same time new cards are not on stock. I think I'm good at least till the 3080Ti or the 4000 series comes out.
I just bought a 1080ti to upgrade from my old 970. As you can't get any modern and cheap graphics cards at this time, it seemed like a good choice to go for a slightly older one.
The 1080 TI is such a beast of a card. But that mostly comes from the current offerings. One would have to get a 2080 at least to have the performance worth the upgrade. And you're not gonna get a 2080, with the 3000 series out. 3060TI seem mostly comparable in performance, but newer architecture is always a plus. The 3070 and 80's are just so damn expensive if you can find one at all, and don't give you all that much increase for the price. I would say the 1080TI is still a solid card, but probably also the 'hardest' card to upgrade from, buck for buck.
I just bought a 1080TI Strix for 360€, and sold my 1070 Jetstream for 260. Like, that was the best Decision for me. I was playing it at 1440p so that's why I was only getting 100.
Lost credibility at "budget king" thie card was never for the budget market
Well that depends on how big your budget is.
I cannot tell if ur asutrallian american or british ?😂
Strayin mate
Sheesh... That sponsor is shady fs. That's the shit that gets deleted after a day on Ebay.
The ebay ones are usually deleted because the keys don't work and the seller gets too many refund requests, I've tried using the ebay ones in the past and they almost never work.
*Laughs in $800 used on Ebay*
literally 1070 is better than 980 ti , why tf are you comparing 1080 ti to 980 ti ? wierdo
Well it was the only other card I had so thought it would be better to have some kind of comparison.
Budged ???? 😂😂😂😂
Depends on your budget lol
@@connectronbuilds9960 The Word Budget usually it is linked to low price items. Not the case of this GPU specially now. I think GTX 1060 still the budget choice for most people who are getting into the PC market not that is even worth it at the moment giving the fact consoles are heaps cheaper and deliver incredible performance at low prices.
@@DownUnder43 1030 and 1050 are budget

Lol budget king? 🙄🤣🤣🤣 its a fucking top tier high end card costed alot and costs alot right now because of the gpu price increase. In europe you cant find one under 450 euro! Thats 548 fucking dollars.
