These formula 1s are super good looking, a lot of people rag on tag heuer but I love the formula 1, I sold mine and I miss it a lot , you can get them on the used market pretty reasonably priced that's a great watch!!
I had this very same watch and flipped it to fund my GS 8 years ago, I remember wore it to my brother’s wedding in Melbourne, never had any problem with it, enjoyed the lume, but it never really grow on me. Not a fan of Tag myself, purchased it out of curiosity, and totally in agreement with your experience Jody. Wearing Watch is a very personal choice, if it grows on you just grabbed them fast!
Nice review! I own couple Tag Heuers and is nice to see a positive review. Have you owned or reviewed any other Tag Heuers since? Recently acquired the 40th Anniversary Monza and is a beauty.

This was actually fascinating regarding the over advertising of the Tag Heurer brand all over the watch and components. Invicta gets a lot of flack for this and I wasn't aware that another brand did it as well (my Tag 200m Professional diver does not). Curious for a brand like Tag with the entry level swiss rep it has to be so over the top. Surprisingly fantastic lum.
I stumbled across this old review with interest, as i have the Formula 1 WAU1113 and was interested to hear your opinion of Tag Heuer. I think I was drawn to them over the other brands because of their motor racing and formula 1 links. I also like the WAU1113's metal bezel and the applied indices and less writing on the dial which is then wrapped around the lower seconds dial plus it doesn't have the engraved brand on the side and having the bracelet adds to the more dressy look. I won't be flipping mine as my wife bought it for me for my birthday a few years ago so it will be staying in my collection. P.S. your presentation has improved since this one but still very informative.
Great watch. I love Tag Heuer.
Tags are solid watches they are not am Omega or a Rolex. However Tags do not have the huge “price tag$$” no pun intended of the Omega or Rolex. Tags are a solid everyday wearable affordable luxury watch.
As far as luxury goes, the F1 series is entry level luxury. Tag does however have some really really expensive watches 8grand+ either way I love Tag. You're right they aren't Omega or Rolex, they're Tag Heuer, they're a good brand in their own right I don't think they need a comparison. :)
Their carreras are in the same price range as some omegas, do you think the omegas are higher quality?
The older formula 1s look disgusting in my opinion but the newer models are stunning

I like Tag Heuer for some reason. I can't explain why but I just like them. I like how the name translate to English as Day Year!
What do you think of Victornox, especially the I.N.O.X?
Same, they are just such good looking watches. And despite any Internet snobs 99.9% of people hold the brand in high regards.

Kinda sounds like Tag Brags a little to much. Reminds me of Invicta who does the same. Sounds to me that this Tag has been good to you.5 years is a good run. Great Video and Thanks for sharing.

Lots of comments here on TAG Hoyer in general, which is not justified just based on their cheapest line F1. Carreras for example are of clearly better technical quality, with a higher price level also. F1 serie is the fashion line money maker.
I dont like the watch. To me it is ugly, lacks elegance and is over priced. Not against Tag though, the Aqua Racer is great.
TAGs leave me cold I must admit. 99% of the models are extremely 'meh'.
They just have no personality in my eyes.

I wasn’t into them before either. Once you have owned a proper one you start to understand them. I’d say a lot of Tag Heuers are an acquired taste.
I just don't see it. For me this is Tissot or Victorinox quality with a 2X price...pure marketing for the dumb and dull-witted.
I think the arsenal overpriced I have two tissot that are just as good quality at half the price of a tag
Tag has a more solid case than the others stated. Tag uses a ETA mvt just like Omega, Tudor does.
