Also, would just like to say that lots of producers releasing their albums late in 2010. This will appeal to more people, even non trance listeners possibly. Emery, Armin, Ferry, Leon, Shah... out of all these albums Leon Bolier's has been the most impressive trance album. best of luck to all these guys.

It is hard to appreciate what some do if I don't even know what they are actually doing - especially live; like Tiesto looks like he is doing a lot on stage but it is hard to tell what he is actually doing live or if he is just dancing lol - especially when he plays sick songs like traffic or maximal crazy ツ

He can do things like change the beat of the song, introduce new rhythms, and change the timbre of the sounds. He also has parts of songs to work with. He brings these together in real-time to create one, endless electronic song that fits the mood of the crowd. He creates a song by "playing" whole pieces of music instead of by "playing" single notes. Whole music files become raw material.
@EcasmbNoobje It's a Mac Pro running Logic Studio. He also uses ProTools and Abelton Live to create loops and then he imports them or runs ReWire. No producer of this caliber uses garageband or Fl. It's a nord lead 3, but he's using a ton of plug-ins in Logic to change the sound of it. You can't get these tones directly from the nord.
@dahurda its logic pro. most of the edm people does use logic pro or ableton so that they are not binded by rtas, pro tools is binded to rtas logic pro and ableton is not. btw rtas=Real Time AudioSuite
@JuppiesV Haha, i later watched it on HD, then zoomed in, i saw it was a nord lead 3, and yes youre right, fl studio can be a crappy program. Later i saw the mac layout something and i saw that it was logic studio. but i didnt knew the Rewire, Ableton live and Pro tools :) Thanks for your help

If so it's incredible...why if its all computerised then why does he preform, I mean how can you preform if it's already made? it's not like playing guitar (can someone please explain). Also does anyone know if he is self taught in the ability to craft those tracks, because when you listen to it, complicated and time consuming come to mind when I think about the process of putting it all together.
@ummmwhatnow I read an interview before on sound on sound and he said he actually use the built-in plugins of logic alot if not all the time. The ES1, ES2 and the EXS24 sampler, he also said he have alot of hardware around but that was mainly for inspiration and not for use if I understood it correct. Logic is only for macintosh also but it is well worth it, no other program in my opinion that feels as tight and nice as logic. But I would recommend Fxpansion Guru to make drumloops easy in logic.
