Ce château de Pont-Saint-Pierre a fait l'objet d'une acquisition l'été 2023 par un couple de Normands passionnés, amoureux de notre patrimoine. Nous sommes très nombreux à les soutenir et espérer sauver ce magnifique édifice.

It's a national treasure. What a shame that France doesn't preserve these glorious buildings. Tragic.

I'm an America living in France. It's amazing how many historic buildings of all kinds there are all over France, _way too many_ for the government to take on by itself. Private owners do a tremendous amount to preserve and restore what they can. And there are good partnership programs that enable private people to get financial assistance in restoration work. But the 1000 year patrimony has left behind more than the present population can manage. Hopefully more people will step in to help out.

@@HistoricHomePlans Le château a été racheté en juillet 2023, les propriétaires ont créé une association, ils ont nettoyé les douves, entretenu le parc et le verger, de multiples projets voient le jour, les dépendances seront restaurées et dans un futur proche, nous espérons que le château renaitra de ses cendres. Prepare 4 to 6millions of Euros fir the restoration works in a country that have a high taxes regime firstly.
Secondly, if the workers comes to work today, tomorrow they will be on strikes 😅.
Then if you succeed in this endeavour, when one day you will sell it,the government take 45 to 50% of the whole sales price as taxes 👍.
Instead invest in agriculture farms, almond. Invest in Spain,.

@@Nico-rw1uo Un couple de Normands a fait le pari de sauver ce château ! Oui, notre gouvernement ne nous aide pas mais nous aimons notre Histoire et notre patrimoine, souhaitons leur de réussir ! Une association a été créée l'année dernière, de multiples projets voient le jour, nous sommes 116 à espérer retrouver la grandeur passée :)
