I love how mom remembers what is who's favorite snacks. She pays attention and tries to get something for everyone. The commentary is adorable, her focus is fierce, what a haul!!!
I can't see how people can judge this lovely family. Both parents work very hard to provide for their children. Both parents are amazing. 😊 Such a lovely family.
For those asking how they afford it, I believe it's through had work, Noel and at least 1 of the girls work in their pie business and I am sure that they had to make sacrifices when they bought the business, so good on them. Hard work can pay off.
We had to make a lot of sacrifices over the years our lowest point was losing another shop we had in Kendal in 2001 but we were determined to still make a better life for our children
The TV work, UA-cam revenue, sponsorship deals and ads etc will help out a lot I'm sure which are all hard work too no doubt! Noel edits the videos as well as run the bakery! I don't know where they get their energy! Love them all and think their approach to life is inspiring!
As Sue & Noel has said before, as it's their choice to have a large family they want their kids to feel they have a normal upbringing, be able to have things other kids have & not feel left out like they should only get hand me downs etc. I feel a lot of people have too many children which they cannot afford & then rely on government assistance only, like in S.A. But the children suffer for their parents inconsiderate choices as not having enough food, clothing & money to fund basic living. Sue & Noel you can see work very hard for their family, show equal love for all their children and one can see they are invested in each child & for that l take my hat off to them. Love from South Africa
Thank you so much for your videos, for being such a great Mum....my Mum was a lovely lady but very ill from prescribed drugs (barbiturates) all through my childhood and couldn't look after my brother and I, which has meant I have struggled emotionally all my life... Love when you show your grocery hauls, especially Christmas! Reminds me of when we were kids in a family of 7, it was an entire day of supermarkets, butchers, and fruit shops on Saturdays, trying to find the best bargains, following our mum's lists. Then we would lay it out on the table before putting it away like this, and my sister and I would commentate to the invisible audience like we had our own show 😆 Always wanted a big family myself, and still enjoy a well executed grocery shop. Except it turned out to be just me and the cat, so not nearly as much fun! Doesn't take very long and can fit in two bags :/
@Archie12 I guess you are like me and remember when shops shut at lunchtime on christmas eve and din't reopen until January 2nd - providing that didn't fall on a sunday. 6 of us and it was a nightmare to get enough to ask, but guess what? We had a 100% track record of making the food last till the shops reopened, barely a crumb in the bread bin and chocolate at christmas in those days was 1 tub of quality street and a selection box. Turkey was used in so many ways we almost ended up clucking.

I imagine if they were to buy stuff once a week they would need a bunch of more fridges to store enough for the week, so it makes sense to do it multiple times a week.

ASDA have own brand apple and orange juice in plain white cartons with just the juice flavour written on them for 55p often almost half the price of other apple and orange juices and taste exactly the same
Hi I agree with you. Some years ago my husband worked for a food production company while he was at uni. He told me off for my insisting on buying the branded named version of things like yoghurt, cream, fruit pots, rice corners, fresh fruit drinks and dairy and as I was and remain lactose intolerant non dairy items like butter, spreads and cheeses that he adored telling me that there were no difference except the wrapping or containers used by different companies. He like the rest of the staff were given a very generous weekly allowance where they could receive items to a certain cost in a bid to both say thank you to the workers and to remove any need for theft. I had always passed the non branded and budget items on to others as I believed that the high st store etc version was of a higher quality. My husband was working one week end at a last moment request from his manager who was aware we had an extremely important conference for our church in a venue close to the production plant but had been left in the lurch staff wise as one manager and two workers from one family had been in a traffic accident and then another production managers father had passed away with no indication he was in any way ill. He was desperate and managed to cover the family of threes spots by offering overtime but the production managers position ( which my husband led backside in) was a more detailed workload. Knowing we were booked up to be at the conference he offered my husband triple salary and arranged that our group of friends who we were attending with and myself came to the staff restaurant to eat so husband could spend a little time with the friends . Manager took myself on a tour of the place after friends had left while I waited for husband's shift to end and so I saw with my own eyes that what husband had told me was true no matter what flavour etc of yogurt was being potted or what the seller was from high st i.e.*&* to budget store variety each container was filled from same dispenser holding exactly the same produt. I never bought the branded items again though to be honest it was around 5years before I had to do so as husband continued to keep his job there after graduation . It's soluble as if you do check the list of ingredients on the most expensive and then the cheapest you will find no difference at all. The only time this is not the case is with the produce bought from the two German based "" cheaper" " stores that have gained popularity in past decade or so as these are produced under German hygiene standards (( far superior in my believe). So yes buy the own brand and own label options . The only time this method of bottling etc changes is when once the run has been completed and some of the say fruit juice remains in the dispensers then they are siphoned off from dispenser into a holding unit and frozen until more of same becomes available then as it has been frozen ( or simply refrigerated) until there is enough for a full run a little dilution has taken place so this is not perhaps as thick a product it then goes on sale as the individual stores version of everyday products. There may as I said be less thick but the taste and quality assurance remain as high a standard as the stores " best or top quality products " which by the way are also dispensed from same dispenser it's only the packaging that has been upgraded and of course the price
@@amsodoneworkingnow1978 My store has its own brand of canned goods (corn, beans,...) and I used to buy those because they were almost half the price of the branded versions. Unfortunately that type of e.g. corn just doesn't keep fresh that long (even looking at the "best before" date), even after only a month there are already a couple of brown pieces, while you can keep the brand-cans for months and won't get any of that. Also about stuff like orange juice: With the cheaper brands you often get a watered down version. The stores I think you're talking about also have to do a lot of product recalls, so they're not really worth the trouble for the slightly cheaper price imo.
For a family of 6 one adult 5 children and I spend between £90-£130 for a big shop and top up between £20-£30 mainly on pack lunch items. Love being nosey and seeing what others buy 😂
I enjoy seeing what other people get to, mainly because I live in New Zealand but my sister moved to the UK about 23 years ago. When I visited them I was fascinated by how cheap everything was. When her and her family visit us here they have to change how they eat based on the cost of food here. On average I spend about NZ$150 a week including toiletries, natural medications and cleaning products which is about £76. Looking at a similar shop I did in the UK it only cost about £40. The UK has a bigger market and can source products from other countries close by and our closet neighbour (Australia) is a 3 hour flight away.
I’m a uni. student in Scandinavia and have one cat and my total for a month is around £150 usually a little bit less. I grow my own veggies (renting a veggie patch from my city that’s £10 per year). Then I eat vegan food and cook from scratch, no processed food, no alcohol, soda on special occasions, majority of the groceries I buy are on a reduced price due to being close to the expire date. Meal prep every Sunday, and I cook organic food for my cat which costs more than my food😂❤ With a bit of planning you can make it work, even if you’re on a student budget and it’s inflation. It just takes a bit of planning ahead.
My husband and I have 7 children and spend about £250 a week on food shopping it’s a lot I know ….. alot of people ask how do you afford it ….. my response is my husband works dam hard …. (“ oh your husband works ???) ….. yes he’s up daily between 12.30 and 2.30 it’s a huge misconception that everyone who has a large family are rinsing the government !!
Hi Sue WOW !!!! that is a lot of shopping and I bet a huge bill at the end. I really wish Sue that my cupboards and draws were so organised & neat. Hope you are all looking forward to the 6 wk summer break-I think most families will be having a "stay at home" holiday what are your plans
I always love seeing food shop vlogs you do as well as the cooking vlogs. Hoping that Noel resumes his cooking vlogs he used to put up. They gave me so many good ideas for meals and I enjoyed the food so much!
Hello to all the Radfords .I really enjoyed your vlog .It is great to see you all in summer clothes. Our weather here in Ireland is so warm . I have not cooked a decent dinner in a few days . Watching you display your groceries made me hungry
I just unpacked my weekly food shop but still here for the satisfying watch 😍 I have 3 boys and I swear they just don’t stop eating … ever! When is your new programme coming out ? Xx
Phoebe's such a cutie like a mini Sue I love the shopping hauls so interesting to see a to larger family than mine, I've five children and I find it large family vlogs so interesting
Flippin eck! I used to get a shock just shopping for my 4 kids as my 3 boys were always raiding the fridge lol you do amazingly with your children love these videos.
I genuinely consider waiting with having kids until there's also shopping delivery in Germany lol. It was already hell to shop for my parents and 3 siblings and such a relief when I was an Au pair in England and the main shop just cam by delivery^^
What a blessed family 🙏😍 some families in the world have only less than 5 children but struggling to provide for them.. Godbless you all. Stay healthy and happy Radfords..love you all😍😇
I saw a lot of Ben and Jerry’s. I live maybe 2 hours from their main facility and I’m shocked you have it! You’d be surprised how small the facilities are!! It’s really interesting to see though! From the US I’m still amazed at how small your fridge/ freezers are especially for that many ppl!! We have a stand up freezer and two fridge/freezers for a family of three and two dogs (they eat meat and veggies like we do). That was not groceries for a week that was groceries for 3-4 days 😳
Omg Sue where do you start to put it all away lol! I haven’t seen Persil since I left the UK. I have to say for such a large family its nice to see the children dont get all processed food and they actually get fresh cooked meals I take my hat off to you and Noel
Was just watching your trip to Hamburg from a few years back, now this one loaded. My first thought before looking at the date was that Bonnie sure is small, then I saw this is today and then you said Heidie and I thought WOW! She is growing up! I imagine she is your last one wearing diapers, eh? Must be so strange to have so few in the house now, though of course sweet Ophelia needs them too. Still, different than 3-4 kids all using pampers etc multiple times a day! I love looking at all the different brands and foods that we do not get here in Canada. I lived in the USA for 30 years and they have even less options than we do here in Canada, I missed all my junk food. I think lots of the stuff we get here that they don't in the USA is actually from the UK! I love it! I liked seeing the Crunch Bar ice cream bars, we no not have those! YUM! We have Rolo and Coffee Crisp ice creams/hot chocolate packets here. Those wee yogurt things are very different from any here. Anyway, thanks for posting this, it is definitely fun to watch! Love and hugs from Saskatchewan!
Saw this and good parants plus beautiful family.of course they get hungry especially growing all time.lots variety which is good.I used to love fab I've lollies to.bless dogs in other room.sweet how everyone helping.ps enjoy summer ,here on sea front.car park full and bet beach is to.myself not been out as heat don,t agree with my rare avm connected to front left part of brain.take care all of you.enjoy heat and summer all.xxx
To be honest , I really was expecting twice that much . 22 kids plus mum and dad . I’m one of seven , when we were all at home , we had a lot more then this . Yes for a week , plus fresh meat delivery from the butcher . That was not a lot of food for a week . Even so Sue said the milk will last a day or two . Very little soft Drinks for the kids . In this hot weather . Apple and Orange juice , only . My Mum got a gallon container of Fruit Squash , every Monday and Wednesday . The Milk man loved us .
@@salyblack1009You don't need soft drinks or juice. You can get by drinking water. There's really no nutritional benefit drinking juice if you're eating plenty of fresh fruit. Of course, it's lovely to have them, but, they are costly and not necessary.
@@salyblack1009 there’s 18 kids living there and Sue did say they top certain things up in the week probably as and when they need them. There’s no point in going wild and then throwing things away a week or two later when they haven’t been eaten and gone out of date. They also don’t need soft drinks, there is perfectly good tap water to drink in the UK for free which is better than soft drinks and squash.
@@divahc1 agreed! My husband and I have 8 kids and we only drink water and some milk if it is in cereal or for our 2 little ones. Flavored drinks of any sort are not needed. We can certainly afford it but we dont get it because it isnt healthy and it's bad for your teeth.

@@amsodoneworkingnow1978 u wrote the whole bible here 😂🤚🏻
@@amsodoneworkingnow1978 My store has its own brand of canned goods (corn, beans,...) and I used to buy those because they were almost half the price of the branded versions.
Meal prep every Sunday, and I cook organic food for my cat which costs more than my food😂❤
With a bit of planning you can make it work, even if you’re on a student budget and it’s inflation. It just takes a bit of planning ahead.
Could you do what we eat in a week as a big family as well. Loved this video and your family looking toward to similar content.
That would be good
My husband and I have 7 children and spend about £250 a week on food shopping it’s a lot I know ….. alot of people ask how do you afford it ….. my response is my husband works dam hard …. (“ oh your husband works ???) ….. yes he’s up daily between 12.30 and 2.30 it’s a huge misconception that everyone who has a large family are rinsing the government !!
I have 1 child and spend £250 a week 🥴x
Omg £250!! 😬😂
@@hollybarrett8029 omg really?
@@soniayt5858 yeah it’s terrible isn’t it 😂
@@hollybarrett8029 omg that's a lot ...do you only buy branded stuff?
Hi Sue WOW !!!! that is a lot of shopping and I bet a huge bill at the end. I really wish Sue that my cupboards
and draws were so organised & neat.
Everything there….but the Pies…..does Noel have a special fridge for them. LOL.
Hello to all the Radfords .I really enjoyed your vlog .It is great to see you all in summer clothes.
Our weather here in Ireland is so warm .
I have not cooked a decent dinner in a few days .
Watching you display your groceries made me hungry
Aw,, you’ve not popped up for ages on my news feed.
I’ve hit the bell now , so will hopefully see more of you all.
You’re a lovely family xx
Beautiful, happy, and healthy family!
I just unpacked my weekly food shop but still here for the satisfying watch 😍 I have 3 boys and I swear they just don’t stop eating … ever! When is your new programme coming out ? Xx
It must cost a fortune all your shopping. Great family so close & loving ❤
Phoebe's such a cutie like a mini Sue I love the shopping hauls so interesting to see a to larger family than mine, I've five children and I find it large family vlogs so interesting
I could watch this family all day. Love them XOXO
Wow! Do you have stores there where you can buy in bulk? You might benefit from a membership to the places where restaurants get their bulk supplies.
I absolutely love this family 👪 ❤️ 💙 💗
Such clean storages! Lovee that it's organized so well!
Flippin eck! I used to get a shock just shopping for my 4 kids as my 3 boys were always raiding the fridge lol you do amazingly with your children love these videos.
Love his video. I’m surprised how many brands you guys buy though! I love an Aldi shop!
@@vallee3140 no but you can click and collect in some stores
I genuinely consider waiting with having kids until there's also shopping delivery in Germany lol. It was already hell to shop for my parents and 3 siblings and such a relief when I was an Au pair in England and the main shop just cam by delivery^^
Mum has a great figure, considering she has all those kids 👍👍
What a blessed family 🙏😍 some families in the world have only less than 5 children but struggling to provide for them.. Godbless you all. Stay healthy and happy Radfords..love you all😍😇
I have to really hand it to you guys. I could not keep up with the pace like you do so well.
Wow, what a great haul. Your family is so sweet.
Radford family hi everyone
May God bless you more
I saw a lot of Ben and Jerry’s.
Hello Radford family, God bless, a happy family. With Love a Mom from the Philippines.
Omg Sue where do you start to put it all away lol! I haven’t seen Persil since I left the UK. I have to say for such a large family its nice to see the children dont get all processed food and they actually get fresh cooked meals I take my hat off to you and Noel
I don’t know how you guys do it all & stay so sane! I would’ve locked myself in a looney bin by now. 😂
I love watching someone’s shopping hall. I was writing down a shopping list at the same time as watching yours 👍😂😂
my kids love frubes even when they get put in the freezer and also they love fabs ice lollies.
Looks like the same amount for me, partner and two boys 🤣🤣
@@divahc1 ...exactly. My grand children drink a lot of water n hardly any juices cause alot have high sugar content.
Looking forward to see Noel cooking again!! Peace and blessings to the Radfords and everyone that’s following! 🥰🙏🏾💙
I really love you guys I can't stop watching 😭. Also am pregnant and hope I have a great delivery
You guys have been through alot

In our house we go through two blocks of cheese in two weeks and we are a family of seven
I really admire this family, well done to you all xx
Wow, your patience 👍.
Happy Birthday Sue❤
As an American watching this, we literally don’t have any of these brands here 😂 so crazy how our food is different. Similar but different names and different spins on things. I found this fun to watch.
Thank you so much for doing this, love seeing more English ones( alot seem to be elsewhere) love seeing it xx
What a lovely family, Xmas must be magical. Sue always seems so calm takes it all in her stride. Oh and can’t forget to mention the dogs how gorgeous are they ❤️
Sure has the perfect temperament for a busy mum. She never yells or gets impatient regardless of how many kids are asking her something.
Loved this! Out of curiosity what sort or budget do you have for groceries? X
think at the start of video phoebe is doing a Blakey impression from on the buses lol
I love those baskets! They are huge and awesome! I’d love some of them to use for washing. LoL here in Queensland, we don’t get anything that big
I belive most the girls look like mom&boys look like dad! All so cute/pretty! Tillie&millie r so strong!
Beatifull family.I like them very much.
Bless your happy home❤️
Wow you get through loads of food and you don't live off benefits you pay your own way with all those lovely children
I LOVE this family, they all just dig in and get it done.No matter what
Great show I love it. I was just wondering what kind of body soap do you all use and laundry detergent for such a big family. I look forward to seeing more of your shows.
