Justin man.....damn...you are so on point. That day you get out you never forget. And the crash of the idiocy of the halfway house. And you're right. Having a gig is the key to having sanity in the halfway house.
So great to hear from you and I cannot believe how time flies. Three years!! So happy your are well. Always enjoy hearing from you!! Happy New Year, Bud.
No internet in prison. And when I was there these was no email. I lined up jobs by writing letters to my network. I shared my plane, goals and I encouraged them to hold me accountable. Writing was an important outlet and it helped me nurture valuable relationships I maintain till this day.
Hi Eric. My job was approved in six days. Yes, many jobs are not approved for a number of reasons. It is why I encourage people to line up several jobs--at least three.
@@WhiteCollarAdviceOfficial any job where you don’t have a supervisor breathing down your back are denied. They will let you interview to anything though.
I hate to say no or never, but I do not think so. What type of work would you do? The halfway house has employees to manage it. They want you out, looking for work and paying your 25%.
Hello, I heard you mention that you paid 25% of your gross pay to the halfway house. Did that 25% cover your rent or did you have a set amount for rent in addition to the 25%?
Currently, due to Covid people in the halfway house are not paying the 25%. To your question, when I was in prison the 25% was simply something I gave to them every Friday. The halfway house covered my housing. Whatever I earned while in the halfway house, I gave them 25%.
@@WhiteCollarAdviceOfficial thank you so much for your reply currently on pre trail just one last question did you get to keep your real state license after doing your time ?

Like always pure gold in your videos. Happy New Year, keep it up in 21!!
Thank you!
I remember visiting you your first day in the halfway house. What a journey.
Happy New Year
You too!!
How were you able to line up jobs from prison? Did you have email or internet access? I thought there was no internet in prison. Solid message here

How long did it take for them to approve your job? Are some jobs not approved?

@@cmaflyer yes, it’s odd they let you go to an interview for a job they will never approve.
SO HELPFUL! How long were you in the halfway house?
Thank you! I was in the halfway house for 45 days, then I went to home confinement for the last 45 days of my sentence.
Is it possible to work inside the halfway house rather than work outside if you're stay is around two to three months.

Another Hibbing connection! Bob Dylan, Kevin McHale and Justin's mom!
