Weirdly enough, I stumbled upon the PETA game site as a kid and didn’t get horrified. I was legitimately having fun playing their games and completely ignoring the message they were trying to make. I didn’t even know what being vegan was back then.

i mean you *CAN* kill animals but there also alot of other foods, just take another route of stealing all the potatos in the villages you find to cook them, PETA will not be mad at you since it's not animal meat :D.

You can survive without eating meat in Minecraft, but the next best thing to meat would be the stews which only keep your hunger saturated for about half as long. I'm not including golden apples or carrots because those aren't an economical food source.

Just so you know, there's a program called Flashpoint that archived a bunch of old Flash games, there's some real PETA gems on there that have been otherwise lost :)

They have many flash games, flash animations, and other formats of games and videos on there too! It's pretty easy to use when I used it, and it's just good haha.

Peta say they are in favor of animals, but he kills more dogs and cats than he relocates because they're against pets and there're already families who want to take them to court for having killed their lost pets.
Animals have more life expectancy in a kennel than with them.

@@celihenry3227 i Guess it depends on the color of the paint,but the paint may mess up the the thermal insulation of fur
i've heard all about a similar thing with rhino horns though and heard that worked reasonably. but this the first time i've heard of it with fur. and as far as i'm aware, fur sheds. so don't think it would work fr very long...also as the other guy mentioned, natural camouflage is important and so painting them would be counterintuitive

I overlooked one of my friends conversations on discord and he says "I am convinced radical vegans and people who work with and for PETA have an invasive gore fetish" and I'm inclined to agree with him. Given how often these weirdos are quick to show everyone they meet gore p® 0n via big TV's and loud speakers. The fact they tried to link gorey imagery to a children's website isn't surprising and yet still disturbing.
but really they just lack any self awareness. this one time peta accidentally posted furry porn when they linked an image of an old man sucking on the tits of an anthro cow from one of their vegan artists and it had the caption trying to imply that this was suppose to be weird and gross it was intended to make people not want to drink milk but every reply afterwards was basically telling them it was accidental furry porn.

The best part about their guide is that by not catching and by extension donating any fish or bugs to Blathers you can’t progress in the game. Their guide tells you to essentially softlock yourself and ruin most of the experience since without the museum you won’t gain access to bridges, shovels, vaulting poles, ladders, more island residents, better items to buy, etc. At that point why even buy the game?

Painting seals is literally bad, it can clog their pores which can cause mild discomfort and skin infection. Also, there might be chemicals in the paint that could be bad for the seals or other animals in the water.

But games, stories, media in general creates emotions, it creates impressions, books of the past have even caused the creation of whole new forms of government, startrak has a part to play in the drive to create phones.
People take those media seriously because they create emotions in those who consume them, they form attachments, and let us experience worlds we never will ourselves.
It is important to separate fiction from reality, and in fact that is why many places create age restrictions on media so that young children who have not had the time to develop that distinction have a barrier to entry. But even as we make that distinction; that does not mean that just because its fake, that the emotions around it are fake.

Remember kids, netherack and netherwart blocks are commonly used as a meat block in Minecraft, and don’t require you to kill anything, so if this server was still around you could make a meat tower that was technically still vegan and therefor peta would have to reason to ban you.

There's a story about PETA apparently disliking Monster Hunter Rise and would make a parody game of it where monsters are playable (I would totally play that, though PETA wouldn't exactly spend as much resources into it to quite reach Capcom's quality). The series certainly seems like something that might catch their attention, with severing tails and actively hunting the wildlife to use their hide for clothing... However, it's unfortunately seeming to be fake news, and we won't get anything like this for you to look into or play. Best we've got is Monster Hunter Stories.

I’m not sure if you will read this but the reason people paint seals is kind of similar to painting a elephant’s tusk pink. The premise is that seals were hunted for their fur but once you paint them green, the fur is now usless so no one will hunt that seal that’s why peta showed this in that mobile game.

This sort of logic actually applies, but not to seals directly. Some poachers steal tortoises for their valuable shells, so animal preservers spray-paint graffiti on them to make the shells worthless, and therefore useless to poach. The same logic might work on seals, given how nice the fur is and we *all* know what exotic pets are like
I'm surprised that PETA hasn't made a parody of Pizza Tower, something like PETA Tower.
I just wanna say that yes, people do paint seals to ruin their coat so they do not get killed for their fur because damaged fur doesnt sell. But its really not safe because of the bright green so the baby seals cannot blend in with their surroundings like snow and ice (edited because of grammar mistakes)

Back when it was up you could attribute ban people by using all-u-want mod in the creative world to make items with ridiculously high attribute numbers and dropping the items to them. Permanent as long as it made it to the first hotbar slot. And inventory was shared between Spawn , Survival, and Creative so I could do it at all 3 spawns.

I played kitten squad and never realized it was from peta. I thought it was just a fun dungeon game that was kinda similar to binding of Isaac except it was cats. Never realized it was about animal slaughter, I did notice the blood on some of the stages and enemies, and even that one boss with the whip, but I thought nothing of it until now. I will look back at the game and see how much of a fool I was.

Ok, so the reason why they paint seals, is because up here in northern Canada (and Alaska, and surrounding areas) our aboriginal cultures (as an aboriginal myself) we use seal skin for our traditional clothing like parkas, moccasins, mukluks, etc Because of the heat sealing (no pun intended) and waterproof the Hyde has to begin with, etc. The rest of the animal is used as food, fuel, etc. I actually see alot of seal fat and meat used as snacks and stuff in my Facebook food groups for up here. I think it's called mutituk in Inuk? I could be wrong, as I'm not Inuk or Inuit, I'm Metis and dene lol

Fun fact about the seal painter game or whatever hunters of seals usually want the hide so painting the hide makes it not as valuable so hunters won't go through th3 trouble to kill it

You can get Kitten Squad on PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Despite being from Peta, I find it to be a pretty decent little game. I have a lot of fun with it, I enjoy dungeon-esk games like this in general, though, and I am quite easily entertained, so that may not help much.
From what I know baby seals were / are killed for their pelts . So I guess it's like ruining their pelts so they won't be hunted

Yea, especially since seals are supposed to be white to blend in with the snow and hide from predators. A big green stripe on them might mess up the whole camouflage thing they have going.
