Before that historically DC has always (read annually discounting sudden succeses) had the more famous and popular characters. Their comics have sold more and they have attained wider renown. Even today just based on comics the new 52 is more widely acclaimed with the latest marvel release being mostly unknown except the niche fan base. It is just that in media movies appeal to a wider array of people. However, that does show how DC heroes are the more popular one and to a certain extent the more famous ones. It's just that with the advent of the MCU the wider non comic reading world has come to a concensus that marvel is better (I agree that the MCU is better than the DCEU)

They didn't fire Snyder. His daughter died so he left JL halfway. And Joss Whedon made the film better. The only problem was that bits of Snyder crap was still stuck in JL so it made the entire thing tonally inconsistent and as a result, crap.
If Whedon had directed the entire movie, it would've been much better. Or at least, its reputation would have improved because people know it's not the same director who put out Wayne V Kent: Trash of Martha.

Aaron Martinez bruh, at least Marvel has good character chemistry, great movies, good story lines, amazing villains, and great storylines. DC has pretty bad movies, okay villains, a lot of people have the same storyline, the character chemistry isnt all that great and they arent really friends but just associates, and their movies dont even make sense, there are only a couple good ones out there. Batman v. Superman literally Superman dod the dumbest thing for no reason when Wonder Woman obviously could have done it herself. In Justice League, the put Superman on the poster but yet he was in the movie for literally the last 30 minutes? Plus, there is really only one girl who does the saving of the day in the DC movies which is Wonder Woman, and only one girl who is officially apart of the Justice League. In Marvel the women fight together to defeat different villains which I think is really cool.

It's a shame how DC dug themselves in the ground. What upsets me as a DC fan is how they have a TON of exciting and great characters that most people don't even know exist. Marvel managed to make a talking tree more likable than most characters in the DCEU. They also managed to popularize many characters most people have never heard of. From going bankrupt and selling their characters' rights to Sony, Fox, and Universal, MCU is now one of the most recognizable franchises. Warner Bros literally owns 100% of DC, yet they are struggling to get their movies together, where Marvel made it work. It's sad that Warner Bros screwed DC over. I hope one day that DC can make a cinematic universe like the MCU where it is planned out and not rushed. People would honestly love DC's characters outside of the main ones they have. DC is only known for its bad movies and "overpowered" characters. With the correct writing and casting, DC can make magic happen.
