An Interstate crosses multiple states (usually having four lanes of traffic) with odd number (e.g. I-5) running north and south and even number (I-90) running east to west. A highway can vary in size and run in any direction (usually with two lanes of traffic except where it connects to metro centers) and are from a time before the interstate system was created. They tend to be smaller and more compliant with the terrain. A route is a major road, not dissimilar in size to a highway, that goes from one part of a state to another part of the state (e.g. Route 66). The highest speeds are generally found on interstates, though the actual speed limit is regulated by each individual state it crosses (e.g. I-5 speed limit varies from 65 to 75 MPH between Washington state and Oregon state). I-90 is the longest interstate or freeway in the US. While the A1 is 410 miles in length, I-90 is 3,020 miles in length.
Great to see a map from my state. Now if they could make one for Western North Carolina. Have a hilly map, wine and Christmas trees for production since that’s the main crops around here along with the ones this map has. A small mine or two for gems and metals and it’s all covered.
There is a mod for metal and gems. It called the Metals And Gem Production by Superfly1842. Both I, MrSealyP and LonneyFarmGuy done reviews on this mod. Awesome mod and modder I know is working on a update to add more stuff including more items
I wish we had american maps with smal fields, woods and very few main roads a smal town. Greystone is the only one I found that comes close. The rest have massive open fields and over engineered farms.
That would be a great idea if you could visit South Carolina. From beautiful rolling hills to huge grass fields to calm lakes and lively swamps and rivers. I know my state very well. Charleston has kept most it's natural beauty while Hilton Head Is has gone to the rich and now covered with villas, condos, and hotels but with the right person you'll find the areas off island intoxicating and highly addictive. We have great restaurants but our bars only serve cold beer. And our farmlands are mostly still tucked in between the trees, nothing like what you see on tv. If you ever get the chance to visit, you won't regret it. Don't go to North Carolina, it stinks up there.

I might be wrong, but this map has a divided highway. An Interstate (optional highway) is a divided highway that cross a state border.
Would of thought you could mix lime and stone together to make limestone

I just started on black river, never would have tried it, if it were not for his map tour.
The mods BigBags as Default and Animal Food Bigbags are incompatible with the map. When the pig feed spawns an infinite number of BBs spawn.
Need to wear my sunnies when playing this map…
Many states will give you a ticket if you cross from one side of a highway to the other side, unless you find a over pass or other prefered route.
There are also many states that have 4 lane, split highways with normal intersections, traffic lights, 35mph zones and more.

I tried this map a long time ago, unfortunately it has Relight built in, so it looks awful on a non-HDR monitor.

Totally inaccurate… there’s no dollar stores or fast food plazas

@@gcandiman8375 Chipotle and Five Guys? Geez, y’all are fancy. I was thinking more Dairy Queen and Hardee’s. Dollar General is ubiquitous though.
Lol there needs to be at least 2 dollar generals and a couple of Casey's gas stations.
I played this map alot before. But now I see that it have many changes and updates. I have to start a farm here again. I liked it alot bofore and I don't think I will like it less now. ...."downloading in progress".
