As in those who grew up with the Claptons and Straits will still prefer cd, while younger gen use online platforms like spotify? Have you released any vinyls since the CD took over in mid 80s? Vinyl obv has made some sort of a (cult?) comeback in the last decade.
It's rather more than just a "concept" Neil - - It's the format that delivers a much higher quality of audio product than streaming can - as well as a 24 page booklet for "Crow Gifts," most recent release. The "concept" however, as you call it, is severely challenged by the jaw slacking stereo stupidity of the self-imposed sanctions of Brexit, which have made posting Cd's into the EU from the UK as great more problematic.

If for some unknown reason that is true doesn't it also show you that CD's as a concept are a thing of the past like cassettes etc? You may be slightly correct in the fact that CD's theoretically sound better but to be honest normal people who you hope will buy your music don't give a rat's about 5%? better sound. Stop living in the past bud. If the booklet is a concern tell people that you will send them one when they purchase 'the whole' album online opposed to a few songs. I think I have just come with a pretty good marketing ploy, thank me later.
