Today I give you a walking tour of Busan's famed fish market known for its fresh seafood: Jagalchi Shijang (자갈치시장). It used to be outdoor, but upon the construction of the new building, vendors moved inside. Many stalls continue to set up outside, which I found to be a much more fun experience to venture through. Feel free to buy your raw fish on the first floor and enjoy it on the second floor where restaurants will set up side dishes. Otherwise you can purchase the fish directly from the restaurant. Watch to see the action unfold!

The whole building is just fascinating. All the things that must be kept in prestige condition ti keep the whole place running with all those filters tanks hoses lights everything in there is all the amazing. It makes you wonder what the future of this place will hold.

Busan , South Korea fresh market is clean,organized, not crowded, and plenty of restaurants at the second or third floor.

The Fresh market of Busan was very huge ita has an elevator, sounds like or as I describe this building is like a shopping mall.

Thanks for sharing the tour of the market. I don't eat fish and I'm allergic to shellfish so nothing is appetizing but I enjoyed learning about the market. My wife would really enjoy this place but I would have to bring a bag lunch.

Hello Miss Mina~ I'll be visiting Jagalchi market in Sep this year (2017). In your video, you went up to level 2 and you have shown the eating areas. May I find out if we are supposed to bring up the seafood which we have bought from level 1 and pass them to the staff at level 2 to cook them? Not sure of the processes. Advices please? Ecological it they could just dump it in the ocean again. But they could make canned catfood from it
