@@joanmarkiewicz3042Hi Joan. Of course I finished the book last year. As a fan of the band I really enjoyed reading the stories behind their rise to fame and the making of their albums. As band members left and were replaced the book, for me, becomes a little unraveled by the end. Tough to keep track of people and who’s who. Overall, though, I loved reading it. The book renewed my interest in the music too, and I played the OMD albums a lot last summer while relaxing outdoors with some beers. Enjoy the book!

Thank you Yamahog 12 for your own thoughts reading the book. I am nowhere near the end. My high school friend saw them in Oklahoma in '72 opening for I believe Poco. I grew up in western NY but I’ve lived in northern NY for 33 years now. I never saw the OMD play live but have listened to their albums since 79. I can’t stand the political leadership of this state but everyone I know lives here. Grandkids are here. You know.
