i still cant figure this program out. those who can use it wont tell. everyone else makes half ass tutorials that get ur hopes up without even begining to scratch the surface of how to actually make a song. at best i can make half a ring tone
May I ask as to what type of wave you used for the main melody? Or is it more complicated than a simple wave? P.S. This was the first real chiptune song that I ever hears, and it inspired me to start learning Milkytracker, and to this day is still one of my favorite songs!
Thanks! I don't remember why the title became "relax" to be honest. Maybe I was feeling relaxed when I saved the xm file. I'm pretty sure the "08" is because I tracked it in 2008.
PS thank you for the .xm files. It'll sure help me get a hang of the program, and I'm trying to learn scales etc. and your melodies and basslines are easy enough for me to practice :D Thanks alot
its like trying to explain how to drive a f1 car its all about learning it urself once u know were everythink is go use wiki and wikis the terms eg pan etc learn wat it means wats it does and how it sounds and thank urself lucky u dont have to try with a moong sinth XD
Hi Odin! I'm not sure if you remember, but I emailed you sometime back in April. I'm the guy who wanted to start a cooking channel. I just wanted to let you know that it's finally up now and that I'm using this tune as my outro music. I hope that I can grow a large audience and also find you some more fans. Thanks for everything and keep up the great work! :)
iv got a few questions 1. when I load in samples, and use another track, they all use the sample in the 0 spot at the top, I can't get one track to be square, another tri etc. 2. what are the numbers going from left to right, I know the first one must be volume after controlling it, but there's 2 other I'm a little clueless aobut. One seems to adjust the speed or something for those NES sound effects, but really i have no idea lol Thanks
Why are all the milkytracker songs chiptune? I mean, there's tons of sample packs to download for milkytracker. Kicks, snares, hi-hats, strings, synths...
I'll be honest: it sounds like the songs included in the keygens and patches for many Windows programs xDDD
Awesome tune. Takes a lot of time to compose something like this.
I can imagine in an alternate timeline this being an 8-bit remix to a popular 80s pop song.
damn bro, how do you get that bleepy keygen noise lol
Also, love the chiptune
Cette musique déchire aussi ;)

Really reminds me of Maktone, you sure you aren't him in disguise? xP
I've tried that, messing around with the numbers, i always get false notes no matter what note i try, it's killing me haha
