this used to work for me but now, everytime I do it (I have the same settings and same method) it just vibrates my camera while I go back. I tried re-entering my hotkey and it works for like 4 seconds before I have to make a turn and then it goes back to my camera vibrating while I go back. How do I fix this?

You need to hold right click. Follow the instructions step by step before actually doing it by yourself!
