Use Italian dressing not ranch dressing. I keep the chips out of it and use the chips as my spoon. It's kind of like nachos. The chips can get soft and soggy sitting in the the salad with the dressing and tomatoes. A nice crunchy chip is good with the salad.
Looks yummy! I use one where line My pan the flour tortilla. the recipe calls for crescent rolls in the bottom of the pan but I don't like that I think it makes it too thick. A layer of seasoned taco meat drained, cooled and had let it rest. then crushed doritoes then layer of meat after layers top off with the remainder of doritoes then melt butter pour slowly over entire mix bake at 350 for 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown. ALL ovens & Temps will vary so watch it.
Try thousand island dressing next time! It's better with the doritos and so life changing with this taco salad!
ORRRR... How about this for a crazy thought.. Nacho cheese.................🤦♂️
I used to use French dressing for this salad.
Everything ex1cept the ranch dressing looks good I normally add mayonnaise and sour cream to mine don't knock it its actually good
Tbh for a batch that big i might crumble the doritos over each portion instead of mixing them all in for maximum crunch
We always made the homemade buttermilk Ranch dressing from the packet. I don’t typically like the bottled dressing. This looks really good!
Looks pretty delicious 😋
Thank you 😋
That looks so good😩😶😩
Wow looks yummy
Thanks :)
If you don’t eat within a couple minutes or so the chips get soggy
Instead of mixing them in sprinkle them over the top or , serve them on the side and let each person sprinkle some over their serving.
Whole olives🤔 I slice mine
Creamy Italian is what you really need here
I’ll try it sometime. Thanks. !
Here’s my plate 🍽️
♥️❤😅

This more like an italian sub salade with doritos. I dont know who puts olives in tacos
I do, black olives were created In california, the canned at least, which I use and are an amazing addition for the texture and flavor!
