I love the concept but don’t care for either base used here. The Endgame battle one should’ve included Rescue/ Pepper Potts. And definitely the gauntlet itself.
The spiderman set was the first Lego set I’ve bought since I was 18 years old, I’m 24 now and it’s absolutely my top lego set I’ve bought. As a display piece it’s awesome
To be honest, as a minifigure fan, I'm all in for more glorified minifig displays. Pricey or not, it's usually a good way to collect the heroes we see on screen! And for kids, there is just enough characters to play the scenes too. Just let the sales go for the sets and it's all win!
I honestly don't understand how the Avenger's Final Battle was released. The destruction is very difficult to actually follow, the characters included leave out the 3 main Avengers in the final battle, and there's no gauntlet. If they ever remake it or make a sequel, they should go the route of Thanos vs Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America. A slightly more open space and heroes that are actually important would do wonders
I think they were aiming to use lesser known minifigures for the collectors. There are already multiple sets that have those three heroes in them, and you could swap them in if you want to show another part of the battle.
I was eyeing both of these sets at the store recently. The Spider-Man set seems more worth the price for me just based on the look of the build. But both of these sets seem to be easy sellers to people looking for minifigures
The black base for the Spiderman set makes so much more sense. It serves as the empty void as they are up high. The black base fur the avengers one doesn't really make sense.
I hope LEGO continue with these display type stand for a movie moment from the MCU films. It's like the Star Wars Diorama Sets. Those are exquisite displayed sets!
Totally agree, the Spider man one is definitely more interesting. The big minifigure heads came first this year with the Lunar New Year Parade set, if I'm not wrong. Interesting set to build by the way.
For the Endgame battle they should not have done only woman. We should have gotten and exclusive Iron Man with battle damage or (just an idea probably not possible) a broken captain America’s shield because Lego wouldn’t have done him with blood dripping down from his cheek. And instead of whatever this scene is Lego definitely should have made it the “I am Iron Man” scene with Tony on his knees in a baron waste area. It is much more recognizable and would have gotten a lot more people buying.
Lego should have done the no way home sets differently, selling 3 Lego sets of the Statue of Liberty all of them individually having each spider man in them, for example Tom holland being the newest spider is the set of the Statue of Liberty head and his main villain will be green goblin! Then Andrew spider man being the torso of the Statue of Liberty having Electro, and again with Tobey completing the bottom half of the statue with Doc ock. I think this would be a cool way of getting a Statue of Liberty and collecting all the spider-men!
Spidey so wins this round! Also not a huge fan of all the scaffolding, my inner-Tiago didn't like the repetitiveness and it ends up heavily obscuring Lady Liberty....but it gives the figs a place to hang out.
While I admit that it has its fair share of issues, I still love the Spider-Man Final Battle. It has a great minifigure collection, was a joy to build, and is a very stable and displayable model! I highly recommend it if you’ve got the studs for it!
I think the first one is great for post-apocalyptic builds but since you said your not a huge fan of those, this set probably wouldn’t be great for you.Still, not knowing anything about Marvel,I like the first one better.
I have a lot of Lego Marvel sets so chances were I would have got these both regardless of reviews. But I somewhat forced my own hand by buying the display cases before I had the sets! Even now I only have the Spider-Man set actually in my possession. I went to store and the Endgame set didn't really capture my interest. I think it's going to have to wait until it is on offer before I add it to my collection.
@@Electric_Bricks 1. I am not buying that set either way, it’s bland and I already have the figures in this hypothetical set 2. Are you accusing me of mysoginy because I think Lego missed an opportunity? If so then damn you have nothing to do with your life. 3. Your content is EXTREMELY lazy
Because it looks like that in the movie? The movie shows it in the process of being refurbished, and the Statue is made out of Copper, green is just patina that forms as copper naturally ages. (the statue was brown copper colored when it was build too)
I’m actually glad they have the bigger Thanos minifig in this set. Makes him more intimidating. Definitely overpriced for the number of pieces. FYI, it’s $80 at Costco
I enjoyed building the Spider-Man set and loved getting original trilogy figures again. Wish LEGO would put out new sets from just the McGuire films. I have no interest in the other set. I was disappointed in how plain various figures were, especially in the legs.

I like how in the spiderman set they used the exact same statue of liberty model as the one in the apocalypseburg set

would love to see these but for star wars kind of like the Emperor's Throne Rooms set in the diorama series

you should definitely chech the sanctum sancorum sets. They are amazing for colectors, builders, fans. And lots oaf cool easter eggs included
You’re right about the Infinity gauntlet, it would’ve been easy to add as it came with The Thors hammer set
They reused the Statue of Liberty head design from Welcome to Apocalypseburg, not that I’m complaining.
These are so cool but the prices? I'd prefer some more of the budget spent on the diorama over the amount of figs on these personally.
We need a poly-bag that includes a more detailed green goblin with actual pumpkin bombs that use the molded pumpkin element!!

Hello! I was wondering if you were gonna be reviewing the Lego Sonic line?
Spider-Man set goes well with the new sandman expansion set
I have the Lego Spider-Man final because it represents an ionic scene from Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The high price for a collapsing Jenga tower seems odd. It doesn't feel like a playset or a display set.
😂 "collapsing Jenga tower" ahaha love that too much
Is Thanos exclusive though? Already was used in the set 76192, which was better in terms of builds and figure selection. The new set is horrible.
