Mutnovskaya Geothermal Power Plant

The power of the station is 50 MW, which is ~ 30% of the needs of the Kamchatka Territory.
In 1974, the Institute of Volcanology of the USSR Academy of Sciences estimated the potential capacity of a geothermal station based on the Mutnovsky deposit at 300-400 MW.
On April 2, 1981, the USSR Ministry of Geology was instructed to approve the reserves of the Mutnovsky deposit, and the USSR Ministry of Energy and Electrification to build a geothermal power plant. HPP with a capacity of 150-250 MW, with the first stage of 50 MW in 1985.
The Construction Directorate was established in May 1988, the planned commissioning date was again postponed to 1992.
In 1995, the Ministry of Energy of the RSFSR approved the revised design of the Mutnovskaya GeoPP
The first power unit of the Mutnovskaya GeoPP was put into operation in December 2001, the ceremonial start-up of the second power unit - in October 2002.
The station has two identical direct cycle turbines of 25 MW each. Each turbine is designed for an inlet pressure of 6.1 bar and a steam flow rate of 44.5 kg/s.

Ничего интересного.
Через территорию дорога есть, но проход запрещён. Обход до малых гейзеров не обустроен, примитивная грязная тропа. Да и там ничего интересного. Пара бурлящих луж и пар.
Да и дорога к электростанции плохая. На легковушке не проехать, по всей дороге валуны

Самая безобидная станция, бери тепло из МАТУШКИ ЗЕМЛИ, и ДАВАЙ свет и тепло ЛЮДЯМ. Всё с пользой и ГЛАВНОЕ, вреда никакого. А рядом термальные бассейны, зимой тем.-40, и тем воды +40, купался круглый год, лечись, ЭТО ЖЕ СЕРОВОДОРОД.
