Gloria Romero is my mom’s childhood best friend. They kept in touch over the years. I met her during her visit to California a few years back and still call my mom by her childhood nickname “Ildy” (Imelda). She is regal, beautiful, sweet & very humble. She is a national treasure.

Not much in Celebrity news and happening, in fact viewing this is incidentally my first. Well done Ms. Amoyo for conducting the interview as you did. Thank you. You were not "star struck" to be all over the place and giddy to interview an A-list celebrity and an icon of the cinema. You were at ease yet respectful to Miss Gloria Romero, patient enough to listen and wait for her finish her answer each and every question you've asked. I find the entire episode worthwhile watching and listening to.

For me, she's the most beautiful face that graced the Silverscreen in Filipino Hollywood's Golden Age along with Paraluman. My favorite is when she's paired with Rogelio Dela Rosa or was it Jaime ... I started appreciating her when I was about 8 watching old movies in the afternoon, in the 80's. I'm 42 now and still admire just as much, aspiring to be as graceful, wearing her age with class and beauty. The wisdom, elegance and articulation is unmatched, my God.

Mabait talaga si Gloria sa kabila ng lahat kinupkop nya pa rin Juancho hanggang sa huling sandali. Nakilala ko si Juancho noong ‘70’s , nagtratrabaho sya noon sa Manila International Airport madalas sya sa bahay namin noon sa Makati dahil kaibigan sya ng bayaw ko. Madalas nagna- night clubbing kami noon sa isang night club sa Dewey Blvd. Malakas uminom ng alak si Juancho at playboy talaga, maraming chicks.
