This tbh is more of a base tour then a base building tips video.
there's tips in there. I've had an equal amnt of requests for both. if i do strictly base building it'll probably be a beginner to mid level guide.
Someone on my server made a replica of your base, and did some PvP Echostones. I ended up shooting the wall terminals hanging out from the top floor which turned off all the power on their base. Just something to possibly think about for next time.

Absolutely bonkers base! I am completely new tot his game and I cannot even fathom the grandeur of your build, it is both terrifying and exhilarating how much freedom you seem to have with base building in this game.
Man your base is DOPE AF. Im going to steal some of it for next beta or launch 😁
I am building my base on pillars.
That way the footprint will be smaller and the base is easier to move to new locations.
I was having problems with ground collisions with resource nodes and other permanent items on the ground, putting the house on pilars means there are less things interacting with the ground.

about the wires. go in build mode, then look at a wire and press L to make em all invisible
i learned a lot here base building wise. i play the game for 20 hours now and it is a fun experience so far

they are a random world drop. just need to loot every chest and dumpster u come across in all the strongholds and you'll get it eventually.
Hey just ran into your videos and it helped out alot! This has to be one of the best bases i've seen so far in this game. I really like the whole hexagon type base. Do you think you can show us how you made your base like that? I cant figure out what pieces you used!
It’s all triangles. So long as u build the entire foundation from triangles the rest is easy. Just leave room for the outer ring as well. The core of the base is 3 walls wide so do three triangle flats wide then keep rotating till u make a hexagon shape

I wanna know where you got that shelving for those storage crates, that's such a nice look you have going.
random world drop from dumpsters and other lootable crates in the different towns. just have to loot everything and get lucky.
Nice looking base. I am stuck with powering automatic doors. Seems you hook up power. It opens and then looses power 😢
How did you get the plants to grow around your concrete columns on your base?
when do deviants attack your base? ive been in demo for 3 days and dont see any deviants near my starting hoise base ? is it maybe for when the game is released??
or did i just pick a good spot where none are by? please advise
deviants will only attack ur base when u do a cortex stone extraction. i believe they can randomly attack in the wilds as well but its rare and depends on ur area that u built.
How do you build stairs that go to the ground?

Thats not in the game anymore. that was for special power with weapons but they changed how guns work in this latest beta.
I really, REALLY need a guide from YOU on how to 'Organise' your power in Once Human. PLEASE, we need OCD Power guides

It’s all just triangles. That’s all u need to know do about 5 spaces wide using triangle foundations and keep rotating those around till u get the hexagon shape

How did you do that, the whole floor is from marble tri? I just started the game and wanted do similiar house but idk how can I do your floor xd
yeah those marble floors are the default texture for high level cement foundations. and yess everything is triangles. thats the key :)
does the electric eel put out power? and if so how can i use to power stuff?
Get your eel to +50% securement and its passive buff kicks in that gives all your generators +5 watts automatically

What keeps you playing? because I got bored at level 50.
i mean in the beta not much weve done pretty much everything u can do besides constantly farming the hard modes of everything. so content will most likly calm down until official release or next beta... but it def helps being a creator cuz even after im late game i have the pleasure of going back and making quality guides for the lower level people too. so theres always something for me to do. i also hope to have a much larger warband with the community at release so big team battles and things that that will be allot more extra fun as well.

@@sausje this video is from beta 2 we are now in beta 3 I have the same bug right now in this latest beta. Just use white doors for now we’ve relaid the issue to the devs already they are aware

i think there is some ripple in space time interaction u have to do. look for some purple glowing thins scattered around and hit Q to activate it when ur standing near it that should trigger a little hologram cutscene and continue the story.

Awesome, I myself suck at making bases and/or houses in any kind of game. Hope I can figure the blueprints out. For me it's hard to build in game, because you cant have a drop down look or zoom far out.
you can hit tilde key (~) on ur keyboard while in build mode (B) and go into fly mode. in fly mode you can use space or c to zoom in or out respectively. hope this helps!

u could use the roof instead of stairs for ur truck ramp... i think... never tried.
Do you have like a floor plan i cannot for the life of me figure out how you made the base
heres a tip... triangles. everything is triangles. all foundations. make the 5 panel wide wall with triangles and keep rotating until u make a hexagon shape.
Yeah, I saw your reply on another comment and I figured it out. The triangles were messing up the ceiling, but that was because of the way I was placing them.
I hope they do some update to building because its very finicky rn. Some things are very hard to place.
How do you get toys for the deviants
Toys are not in the beta atm. Must be a bug or something that be messaged about it on creators discord and nobody has found toys at all yet. Its like there not in the game at all right now.
If it's true that u can save ur base designs even through wipes I'm gonna try do something like this

Do you share a base? if so how do you do that?
when u create a hive in this recent beta things slightly changed when u add players to the group and ur hive, u can open a special settings menu to allow them to open your doors and interact with your base. if u enable all that then yeah u basically share each others bases and can build everything together
Can you do a new character, I ask because I want a better planned account for a more decent social one. And where can I get the plans for a Machete. I have what I started with melee.
How does raiding work? Is like rust? anyone can raid your base at anytime?
depends on if your on a pvp or pve server. no real raiding on pve servers. but on pvp servers u can capture and control frontier oil rigs. and then bid against other clans to fight eachother and steal frontiers from one another. also on a pvp server if u steal one of the pvp echo stones u get flagged for pvp and then other players CAN attack u at your base while ur trying to extract it.

@@TechTonicTitan unfortunately yes totally random. if u dont get lucky enough to get it u should get 3+ re-roll tokens to try and remove a perk u dont like in hopes of getting it.

Can you have more than one base?
nope one base for each member at a time. that being said once u build a rly nice base u can save the base u built as a blueprint so when u switch zones u just use that blueprint option and it will automatically pick up ur entire base and instantly rebuild it in a new location.

Just u triangles. Everything it’s triangles it’s the only way you can get that shape. Start with outside edges 4-5 length wide all the way around then fill it in for the middle

My build limit its 500 structures, I tried to replicate your and I cant
U have to upgrade ur territory. Learn the base expansion memetic and then when ur have that go to your base terminal and choose expand territory. U should be able to do it twice
i love how u guys are finished the game and normal people cant even touch it. cool as
lol were only rly testing 1/3 of the actual map during all these betas. there should be a bunch of new features and content added that will be new for everyone on full release in a few days :)
@@Glitchiz get where I'm coming from but bro, like open world pvp games are a race at the start. Like all these UA-camrs got keys ( 8 of us applied) and will get end game and drop the normal player on release. Same happened with the Front.
@@P1DZz I will be playing day one same time as everyone else. We’re didn’t get keys for early full release only keys for the betas. So official release should be the same start time for everyone this time around

I know everyone will start at the same time on release, but you have a couple of hundred hours of game time already.
You know where to go get the better stuff, where to build etc
I'm not saying it's your fault, The devs don't think of stuff like this when they do locked betas.
Information is power and a guy logging in day 1 who has never turned the game on doesn't stand a chance against a guy/group who already experienced the whole game
@@P1DZz i mean your right there. however none of that rly makes any sort of difference unless u plan on playing on a pvp server.. 80% of players play on PvE servers so it doesn't rly affect anything. there's plenty of room for everyone to build.
Where do we collect the toys? No one has a video and i have over 200 hours and havent gathered one. No one has a video on them.

BASE BUILDING TIPS! - "Stronghold Decaying" lmao
make a base our size out of the highest grade materials. it goes by fast... I assure you its in tip top shape. Caught us in middle of a restock is all. it happens. plus its just two of us..
Community really needs to voice our opinions more on this old out dated decay system from rust there should just be a login delay timer where after 7 days then ur base starts to decay or just poof gone. not everyone can login daily.@@Glitchiz
