Thank you so much for this! I've been playing for about 2 weeks now and I could never figure out how to build a functional base that wasn't also a major eyesore. Now, I have a home that I can actually enjoy coming home to. Wood for now, but scalable as I get stuff unlocked. Thanks again!
Very nice build, thanks. As for sharing blueprints I like the idea of being able to sell your BP via your vending machine and allow players to pay you some EL for your work. Seems like a good trade off to me.
Im always so blown at away how systematic people are when it comes to pro builders. I could never in 100 years commit to a blueprint for building. I can only manage something when its improvised and not following any single structure.
thats the great thing about this build though its so modular and simple that when new features get added its very easy to expand on it to add any additional features u want!
A tip for everyone. Walls will snap with less of a hassle if you are standing on the tile you are snapping to if that makes sense. Also if you are building with the angle roof tiles, flight mode is your best bet because you have to be above the tile you’re snapping to for it to align correctly
Ive learned using the shift key in build mode whether in flight or not you can utilize the shift key and mouse scroll to align the pieces can see every angle available. Great build gonna have to check it out.
29:47 you mentioned showing the total materials needed once the build was done. Can you list them so we can gather them all in advance? Great video and looking forward to building it once higher level!
thank you for the guide, also notice for the bottom base walk way i could use 3 sqaure foundations and 1 triangle to connect to save on some pieces, the guide was interesting and built a base from it, thank you very much, i did have issue with grid snap on, placing pieces inside pieces so it couldnt line up, so once that was disable was great. Also had to keep pausing as i get listening to what you were saying over what i was doing ^^.
On thing that will make this build better is putting 1 floor tile at the end of each stair on each floor so you can actually get on and off your stairwell
So far this is the only build that is easy to make, functional and aesthetic at the same time. It’s also flexible enough for people to make changes and personalize the design pretty easily
For the fly mode, with the walls, use the ‘shift-scroll’ option once it’s snapped to the piece of ceiling you want it to be snapped to but it’s miss aligned. It will cycle through all the sides of that piece of ceiling

no that is for the seasonal transfers u take ur in game blueprints with u to eternaland and them bring them back. If u build some exclusively in eternaland first it get this annoying "eternalnd exclusive" tag on it and only lets u build it there.
tempting to make this base since its an all around defense, i got my base by a river with the rear of the building facing the water to use hydro gens and to basically force the zombies to spawn from one direction so i can focus all my turrets towards there
You've got a sub from me not only for a great build video but mainly because you answered or commented on almost all of your comments. Most content creators dont bother to reply back. Very impressive. Question, can you build this base just starting the game? I just started playing yesterday and have a lot to learn. Thank you.

Pretty great base, and nice to hear devs are listening or thinking about sharing the blueprint. One weird thing I saw in my game, someone had a base with floating area. There were no pilars, just 4 turrets on triangle made base and over them overing one wall high an area where the wires went to. Very strange to see floating base parts.
Awesome, yea the blueprint code idea is something I hope they go with. I thought similar when i first started last week in that they should have a way to share blueprints online to save from having to it this way lol.
Big fan of the triangle pieces myself. I’ve a few wicked designs just too lazy to post considering how long it takes me to come up with something new each time. Rn sitting on an open floorplan with my large garage sitting dead center, very pretty and practical while maintaining that octagonal esque shape
When i saw your other video of your base I didn't intend to replicate it. I wanted to figure how the floor works around the spiral stairs and finally got it. Turns out i do have a hexagon shape but i added more corners all around making it look like a star with 6 points instead of the normal 5. In the end i felt proud of this base even if the inspiration came from your base/video.
This base is awesome. The biggest thing to copy is the bottom floor so you get the turrets. There's more freedom after that. Having the 12 turrets defend all angles is the key thing
This base is amazing I've built it to the exact as him ran 5k starchrom purifier no dmg to the base. I don't have the same memtics specializations as him and was good to go. Highly recommend if you want a simple organized base design with options to expand
I found if you struggle with the stairs after the first floor place a triangle ceiling where they need to go then place the stairs and delete the triangle from under it. Makes it so your not having to mess with the snapping as much
Like ive aaid before, love the base! PvE orientated mainly. Couple of Molotovs and everything is gone if you get attacked. Once again but, great video and well done on an actual build tutorial because there isn't many.

The eternaland exclusive took all the dedication and motivation from the right now😭😭😔😔
hi, if you haven't found a drawing of a rack yet, there is a way to place 6 chests on top of each other, for this I use a bed, it doesn't look as neat as a rack, but still not too rough and access to the chests is more convenient than when the chest is standing on chest. Unfortunately, this method does not work with plant boxes, although I have not yet tested this on release, it did not work for 3cbt. I just haven’t seen this method on UA-cam, I wanted to share, maybe it will be useful to someone. This method is also convenient because it is available from the very beginning of the game

Very nice build and consistent with all the great vids you do, my hat's off to you. I'm not real comfortable, however, with how you left the stairs needing to jump over them to get in and out of the upper floors, and then the gap at the top of the stairs. There's probably a more elegant way to handle that, maybe with just one set of stairs and fill in the gap with a triangle at the top. If you try to put the triangle in now, it hits the head of anyone walking on the other staircase. Quibbles, it's a great design and I'm going to think on it. Thanks!
