Taeha, as I said in the other video, is a breath of fresh air for NRW. More content like this can keep this retro sound alive in a slightly different flavor. I will admit though that I don't hear "kpop" in these songs... they just have lyrics in Korean.
If you want something more traditional "synthwave" from Korea, try Sunmi's "Fellowship" - short, simple, and awesome.

Love me some good JPOP but....maybe its better to have a category for such "surprises" like a "mystic tune friday" or something?
I dont know how other listeners feel but I am exited for every new content here and if its not my taste thats ok but if its suddenly a whole different genre and such a cheesy one too...its a bit of a bummer, especially if there was a period of "lets listen to a whole album of..." and I or others had to pass because it wasnt our taste either or it got boring and repetitive...sure "you cant make everyone happy" but I think I made my point clear. 🙋♂❤
It is retro-inspired, that is good enough for me. Not sure why it would be classified as cheesy to you..? When Korea or Japan do retro, it is a lot better than what most other countries do in my opinion and truer to those older sounds/elements than what other artists might do.
