Very interesting to learn about the razored cross on the top and how it has a practical function as well as a spiritual one. Attenzione però alla traduzione di 'cedro'. Cedro l'agrume da canditi sarebbe 'citron' in inglese. 'Cedar' è cedro l'albero.
The main difference between a good, artisanal panettone and an industrial, supermarket one is that the first has a bright yellow dough and much richer in taste. Once in a while they're worth the extra money.
Cause in Italy if you call you product "panettone" it's mandatory bay law that it has mother yeast, fresh eggs and real butter otherwise you can't sell it as a "panettone". That mean that even the worst italian industrial panettone will have no fake yeast, powder eggs or vegetable fat.
Have a look at the prices of quality panettone and you'll find they're a fair bit more than $10, because of all the work that goes into a good one. And fwiw it's more bread than pastry, yet eaten more like cake. : )

इतालवी संस्कृति बहुत अच्छी है, विदेशी संस्कृतियों के बारे में जानना अच्छा है 🇮🇳❤️ 🇮🇹
I really should've gotten one of these today...they are so good with coffee
I decided to make my own pannetonne at home last year. It was great (nothing to compare with his one though) yet it took me forever. I kinda enjoyed the whole process, I shall be making it once again this year. 😁 Artisanal foods are the best!
Molto bene! I love Panettone, and agree it should be an all-year-round thing!
I love Panettone so much, for me is the best of Christmas! I'm so lucky because I could enjoy some good ones at Milano :)
It makes great French toast!
Is it just me or do they both have really good chemistry
I don't know how they do it but some industrialized Panettone made in italy are the best when compared to many others manufactured around the world
Cause in Italy if you call you product "panettone" it's mandatory bay law that it has mother yeast, fresh eggs and real butter otherwise you can't sell it as a "panettone". That mean that even the worst italian industrial panettone will have no fake yeast, powder eggs or vegetable fat.
the amount of time and work for a $10 pastry. stunning. great video!
Have a look at the prices of quality panettone and you'll find they're a fair bit more than $10, because of all the work that goes into a good one. And fwiw it's more bread than pastry, yet eaten more like cake. : )
@@cichlisuite2 but ingredients are DIRT cheap for baking. cost most equipment and labor.
This is art!
My sister in law gave us one of these for watching their dog, thing was really good.
The one we had even had the same packaging as the ones shown in the video...
An amazing process!
Another great video by Claudia
My absolute favourite food. Mouth watering😋
What a handsome Baker!
I look forward to this delicious bread each holiday season. I’ll enjoy it even more now after seeing the care and long process that it takes to produce it. Thank you!
This is the best fruit cake in the world ! We have this with butter instead of traditional christmas cake. I would pay to get some of that yeast, cos panettone is very very expensive here in sa, because it is imported
Love love love panettone ❤️
Thanks for adding actual captions for the Deaf.
Italians have the greatest cuisine in the world.
It looks delicious! I love panettoni.
Man… this gives me tears, I miss panettone with my parents in Milan
In Russia we call it kulich. This is a traditional Easter cake and we eat it every year. Funny fact - Kremlin was also designed by Italian architect Pietro Antonio Solari from Milan
I guess you wanted to say “Kulich” In Russia we call it Kulich(Кулич) not Paskha.
@@Thorin632 да, само собой))) спасибо, поправил)
The Italians did teach the world how to cook!
Most cooking techniques comes from France but ok
@@underpressure1954 and the Frenchs leanrned from Caterina Dei Medici
@@paolorossi9180 The Medici learned everything from the French Royalty wtf are you on 🤣

@@underpressure1954 your opinion.Caterina Dei Medici is considered "the mother of french perfumery too. This is the history
@@paolorossi9180 Literally nobody calls her like that. Do you know how history actually is ? Catherine never ordered italian food when she was in France
Dear person reading this YOU are such a blessing to beyond a gazillion times and beyond that and beyond that and beyond that and beyond that and beyond that!😀
