I am one of the rare people who played Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and it was one of my favourite PS3 games. It is also one of only a few that I completed on that system.
For the easter egg my suggestion is the Quarian admiral from Mass Effect 2 talking about transferring to a ship with a respectable name, such as the Defrahnz or the Iktomi. Which would make his name Zaal'Koris Vas Defrahnz (vas deferens) or Zaal'Koris Vas Iktomi (vasectomy)...
Beyond Good and Evil was an awesome game on PS2, was totally different to most of the adventure games on the market at the time. The premise you take photo's sounds "eh?" but it works really well, and you'll find yourself hunting for the "things".. completed this a few times and was worth every play through :) Very underrated
In The 7th Guest (Mac version) you got the soundtrack on one of discs of the game. Now if you play the soundtrack, on one of tracks it sounds like someone having sex, which is not in the actual game. I've still got the game and box somewhere in the house. Not an easter egg inside a game, but still something people might not have known.
Titanfall 2 is one of my favourite single player campaigns, and Sunset Overdrive was a lot of fun. Both are often really cheap on Xbox in sales. I started BGaE but didn't get very far. Should probably give it another go.
Always good to see Live A Live being supported. Man I got so excited when I saw that release trailer, and nobody else in my call even knew the game. I did at least get 1 friend to buy it.
Okay, I think I've officially earned my "Filthy Hipster" card since I've played every single one of these. Especially happy Live a Live is on here, I played a fan translation romhack of that back in the day and was so pleased it got a remake that finally gave us proper localization.
Funnily enough, Live-a-live (1994) was the only game on this list I've played, and I remember that same fan translation. Clearly I have my work cut out for me. Of all these, Beyond Good and Evil is probably the one I'm most likely to pick up semi-soon
Honestly, I didn't have high expectations for midnight suns. Got it as a gift. I love it. Same thing with enslaved. I few of these games are on my watch list. This video might be the inspiration I need to finally play them
Reminder that Jason Schreier confirmed that Titanfall 2’s release date was Respawn’s fault, not EA’s. Respawn wanted to compete directly with their former employers (who had fired some of the devs that formed their studio) and asked for that date. Bad luck struck when Battlefield had to be pushed back and Titanfall 2 couldn’t do to marketing deals.
Huh, a video title I can't argue with. I own Titanfall 2 I just havent played it yet.. Im aware of some of the other games, but quite a few I wasnt. Well done Jules
Since I've played the rest of the list, I suppose this means I need to check out Live a Live! Great list, all of them are definitely worth folks' time.
I definitely recommend Live A Live. Fantastic music from Yoko Shimomura, the remake has a beautiful art style, a loving homage to many different movie/anime genres, and a crazy story that I do not want to spoil, you just need to play it.
While not an easter egg per-se, it is completely missable. For something low-poly and extra spicy, how about the "Group Room" in the Honeybee Inn from the OG FF7? Cloud is needing clothing for his cross-dressing outfit and winds up in all-male group bath, asked to join a "young buddies group," told "daddy's so lonely," and can say that "it hurts," when asked how he's doing.
Top 10 Games That NEED to be made. My candidate is EASILY Record of the Agarest War. It was a turn based RPG, and had both a story AND game mechanic where you could romance one of 3-4 party members. And then played as your child when they grew up. And took place over 5 generations. It was such an overlooked, and underrated, game. Added bonus, as it could also been on this list.
Dirty easter eggs... I Had no idea at the time what the hot coffee unlockable joke in Jak X meant...years later I still look back and think "damn naughty dog... xD"
Funny story...I pre-ordered midnight suns expecting to not like but I wanted the funko pop that came with it...but it is now one of my favorite games of all time
You forgot to mention that Sunset Overdrive was hurt by being an Xbox exclusive while the developer has a dedicated following built up by years of playstation exclusives.
Eternal Darkness was fun and needs to be remade or at least have a spiritual successor. Enslaved was alright but the gameplay felt kind of generic.Midnight Suns is an amazing game and I'd love to see an X-Men game with a similar setup set in the X Mansion.
@5:38 Get the Duke Nukem Bulletstorm DLC if you're planing on playing Bulletstorm. Duke replaces the main character, but has no idea why he's in the game or what the plot is really about, hilarity ensues.
A rude/spicy easter egg I think would be, and don't judge me, but the dating sim (mobile game) Blush Blush, if you have Cole, he's clearly a serial killer but tries to hide it incredibly well. And it's done in a very PG way too (somehow). The easter eggs are more the dialogue that comes from other characters after interacting with Cole that don't happen when interacting between any of the other characters.
Nice video, but most of these games are not really as obscure as implied. I have played all but one of these(Love A Live), and pretty much every game I know has played Titanfall 2 and BG&E. That being said, these are some extremely good to excellent games with the exception of Citizen Sleeper.
I know you're talking about a few games that nobody's ever played most of the days I have heard of but there is a game that is called mind Jack and have yet to hear any response about it I don't know if it's a PlayStation 3 only but that is the copy that I picked up and Bulletstorm and Beyond Good and Evil and evil are amazing games but if you ever heard or played this game called mindjack please let me know and yes I know I didn't use any commas or any proper punctuation like I should have:-)
Deep cut it is. Xenogears - not sure if glitch or easter egg. If Emeralda is taken to the restaurant in Aveh (before entering Solaris), her sprite will be the nude one used to depict her in a test tube. Im sure you can find photo of it online. Just a bit weirded out whne it happened.
Wayne LaPierre (the president of the NRA 🤮) calling out bulletstorm by name (and NOT Call of Duty, interestingly 🤔) after one of the many mass shootings in the US in the early 2010s convinced me to get it out of pure spite…and I’m so glad I did.
Where's The Sabouter which still holds up today. It is worth playing this year. It was made in the 2000s by EA. Also where's Xcom Apocalypse from the 90s the best XCOM game made
Sunset Overdrive, Titanfall 2, and Bulletstorm were amazing!!! All deserve a sequel!!!
Damn i always thoughtt sunset overdrive was online multiplayer only so i never played it. Damn
Midnight Suns was such a great game. The combat, the characters, the story, all were a joy. Hope they make a sequel

Its on Steam
played on PS3
I had the pleasure of playing Titanfall 2's campaign for the first time earlier this year. A wonderfully enjoyable experience.
I'm not an FPS guy, but Titanfall 2's campaign really is masterfully crafted.
Enslaved is a phenomenal game! The fact that it is so unknown is a terrible shame, deserves so much better.

I play mostly jrpgs....so all of my games are single players. It is nice to see live a live on a list. Great game.
Honestly, I didn't have high expectations for midnight suns. Got it as a gift. I love it. Same thing with enslaved. I few of these games are on my watch list. This video might be the inspiration I need to finally play them

I've played the first half of this list with bulletstorm being one of my all time favorite games.
Sunset Ovwrdrive looks pretty good, akshulee..
Thanks Jules, you the best!

“It was supposed to be a summer banger, but now it’s just another bummer sanga,” -TFS
I miss Now in the 90s's when i heard it's theme song talking about Live a Live
Dirty easter eggs... I Had no idea at the time what the hot coffee unlockable joke in Jak X meant...years later I still look back and think "damn naughty dog... xD"
Brutal legend. Brutal legend. Brutal legend. We’re never getting a sequel, so atleast play the best jack black game ever made.
Funny story...I pre-ordered midnight suns expecting to not like but I wanted the funko pop that came with it...but it is now one of my favorite games of all time
I've played
Eternal darkness
Titanfall 2
Enslaved
Bulletstorm
Thomas was alone
Beyond good and evil
Citizen sleeper. So most of them 😊😊😊
I played the first one on this list in my GameCube back in day,
Enslaved was such an amazing game
You know, I've been puzzling over just what "chest-high-walled mind" is meant to imply as a metaphor... and I have _absolutely_ no idea.
I got some new games to look at and add to my ever growing list, especially the first one that looks to be an interesting game
Thank you!!!!
currently doing another campaign of Midnight Suns since it was added to the PS Plus extra library
You forgot to mention that Sunset Overdrive was hurt by being an Xbox exclusive while the developer has a dedicated following built up by years of playstation exclusives.
I feel like nobody talks about the fact that KING FUCKING BUZZO of the bloody MELVINS was in Sunset Overdrive. Fuck that game was so good.
Eternal Darkness was fun and needs to be remade or at least have a spiritual successor. Enslaved was alright but the gameplay felt kind of generic.Midnight Suns is an amazing game and I'd love to see an X-Men game with a similar setup set in the X Mansion.
I miss playing Eternal Darkness
@5:38 Get the Duke Nukem Bulletstorm DLC if you're planing on playing Bulletstorm. Duke replaces the main character, but has no idea why he's in the game or what the plot is really about, hilarity ensues.
God of War 3 getting with Aphrodite and killing her husband Hephaestus after he confronts you 😂 is rude/spicy!
Still own half of these!
I would add septerra core and gladius to the list
A rude/spicy easter egg I think would be, and don't judge me, but the dating sim (mobile game) Blush Blush, if you have Cole, he's clearly a serial killer but tries to hide it incredibly well. And it's done in a very PG way too (somehow). Enslaved was almighty!!! 💎
I have Enslaved and bulletstorm on Steam.
Lol the first one was not the one I expected and the only one of the list I have actually played. It is crazy and would mess with your mind
I'm gonna say the "spiciest" easter eggs are from Duke Nukem 3D
Spec Ops in the thumbnail but no mention of Spec Ops? Sadness on the stack
Gameplay was good. Story was great. Good stuff. Miss that game. Gotta buy it again.
@@kamenanew9867 if you can find it, best of luck!

i actually enjoyed the story of midnight suns
Heh. I own and have played all but two of these (Bulletstorm and Live A Live). So... let's say I'm doing my part.
Titalfall 2 was soooo good. And I don't even play FPS game

Umm deaths door? Highly underrated game

It'd a list I've seen saboteur lots. However xcom apocalypse was good
the only game I played on this list was titanfall 2
Geuss i one of the seventeen ppl who played enslaved coz i still own it xP
Enslaved was fantastic on pc but awful on consoles. The input lag made it unplayable
I played 6 and 2
I couldn’t get into sunset overdrive
How about the original God of War series and the secret "mini s-x games"
Or Overlord 2's winning over all the wives..
First on the list, eternal darkness. Yeah. Haven't featured that one in a list in the last 15 minutes. Zzzzzzzzzz
“Even if you hate card battle systems…” No I don’t think you understand HOW MUCH I hate card battle systems lol
