Lyrics:
To me is given boundless mercy, a gift that I did not deserve;
Such wondrous love, it is so marv’lous, that such for me should be reserved.
But since I know, I will rejoice, and praise Thy mercy with my voice.
And I who naught but wrath did merit, shall now in grace with God abide!
He reconciled my wayward spirit, through His own blood, and gave me light.
From whence came this? What is it for? Unbounded mercy, nothing more.
To Thee, O God, I must confess it, Thy grace to me Thou didst impart.
Before all men I will express it, because I feel it in my heart.
I bow before Thee and rejoice, and praise Thy mercy with my voice.
No man shall take this rich possession, it is my boast and my delight;
My faith in “Mercy” finds expression, in pray’r I praise its wondrous might.
On this compassion I endure unto my death in hope secure.
Lord, Thou who art so rich in mercy, take Thy compassion not from me.
And when death calls, then lead me surely through my dear Saviour’s death to Thee.
Eternally I will rejoice, and praise Thy mercy with my voice.
Give me, Lord, sympathy and mercy with my poor brethren in distress,
My bitt’rest foe to love and pity. Thy love in death Thou didst confess.
Thy blood for sinners does implore: Compassion! grace, forevermore.
One of those hymns that almost always moves us to tears when realizing what our Lord has done for us ! Beautiful reminder when souls are baptized!
In regard to showing emotion, I am a lifetime AACA, member for 66 years and showing emotional feelings has always been part of the faith. We are bound together with our brethren in love, sympathy, and respect. What affects one member is always born by the entire brotherhood. Be there joy or sorrow, we show our love to Jesus Christ by the love which we have for one another.
I know the ACC don’t like to show emotions but this song moves me to tears every time
I am a member of the ACC (ACCN) and emotions are very much allowed.
@@jeremylelea3758 that’s good to hear. Somewhere on the ACCN website it says that people don’t say Amen in your services. I assumed that meant that expressions of emotion are discouraged
My dear Grandma Marie (Rinkenberger) Anliker Hohulin's favorite song. Many thanks for putting it on here! She lost her first husband, Earl Anliker when he was only in his early 50s. She said that this song was such a great comfort to her during that time.
I love this hymn, greetings from a member of the ACC of northern Argentina..
Supper....the best
My favor..

I love this music
Lovely
Thank You
Beautiful.
I just stumbled on this UA-cam sight last night and am really enjoying the singing. Are these all different groups singing? I did read the note about the Fairbury group from that group of songs. Are some of them from the Men's Group singing? I saw #81 and played that first - one of my favorites. Thank you very setting up this sight.
+Carolyn Haas A lot of the singing is from a few of the same groups. Some of the first one's I put up are from the 2000 Brotherhood Conference singing in Lester, Iowa; some are from the Fairbury Young/Single Group, some are from the Prairie Choristers and I am not quite sure which Church(es) they are from; some (including #81 and running up into the Lower 100's) are from the singing at the Peoria Church. One (The Gospel Plow) is from a group of Brothers from Francesville that call themselves the Heritage Gospel Quartet, and another (I'd Rather Have Jesus) is sang by the sisters of the Forrest Young/Single group. Let me know if you have any further questions, comments or if you would like me to post a hymn or gospel song. I will try to do so. Thanks! Which Church are you from?
+Chad Knoblock Carolyn Kellenberger Haas from the Elgin, IL church. I'm related to some of the Knoblocks in Lester, IA as they married Kellenberger's. I shared this post with several of my friends and they are really enjoying the music also. Thanks for doing all the work for others to enjoy. Plus I like the pics.
+Chad Knoblock I DO LIKE The Gospel Plow so if you have a few more songs from that group, I'd appreciate it. #81 is the first song I played as I love the harmony. Sometimes I ask our song leaders to give that song on for me before church starts. Now I can listen to it as often as I want. My friend likes The Lord will Provide so now she can listen to that one often.
I don't live in AZ but I was married to Bob Haas's cousin Ed and we were very close. Ed has since died but I'm still cloe to Carole & Bob. How do you know them?
+Carolyn Haas Sounds good:) My Mom was from Morris and knew Bob and Carole there, but we have been down to Tuscon as well and I also went down to the EXPO ESPERANZA in Magdalena, Mexico with Bob and Carole. I really enjoy them both:)
+Chad Knoblock So who are your parents? Do you know Esther and Mel or Mef as I knew him years ago.
+Carolyn Haas My Parents are Troy and Donna Knoblock. My Mom was a Koehl and her parents are Harvey and Wilda Koehl. My Dad's Mom and Dad are Roger and Janet Knoblock. Yes I know Mef and Wilma Knobloch and I know Esther Warner (Knobloch) if that is who you are thinking of. I just posted "Crown of Glory" by the Heritage Gospel Quartet, so it should be up fairly soon:)
@@apostolichymns yaaaay i live there
where can I find the lyrics to these songs
I can take pictures of them for you and send them to you via email, or if you have a physical address i can send you a hymn book with the hymns in them (free of charge). If you have an i-phone you can also get an app called AC Central with all of the lyrics on them. Just let me know. Thanks and God Bless you and your family.
R H Now there is a Zion’s Harp Website and you can find the lyrics there.
