I just started reading When the Moon Hatched and it's pretty good so far. I'm really impressed with the lore and world building and the opening of the book has this really cool creation story of the gods, how they came to be, and the world, and how the dragons turned into moons. It's just really good and you can see the crazy amount of effort and world building that went into it. The characters are actually pretty interesting too. It's been a long time since I've read a book with good world building and decent characters.
Okay I'm so excited for you to read so many books this month!! I want to read half of these books and look forward to your thoughts!!

The Winnowing Flame trilogy was good. With your current mood around books it might be a little dark to start it now though. It's not super dark, just some depressing stuff in the first one.
9:47 update! I started Shatter Me - and I'm almost halfway through book 2, and I'm struggling. I thought book 1 was excellent, but I'm having a hard time staying involved in the story. It makes me wish I read it when I was 14-16 and taking Divergent and The Hunger Games 😬
