I guess I just get tired of people tearing down others who go to the time and effort to put out content that serves a real need. People on You Tube are always asking for tabs. Here this guy puts together a whole video, complete with tabs and sure enough a person such as yourself has to come along and say "that's not even remotely how it's played". If you think you can do better, then do it.

You don t have to leave the chord to press those notes they are already in the chord. By doing it with your pinky youl have your background dist. while doing that .Nice cover btw ^^

@@violethill4454 what they mean is that he can play the chords and the separate notes while having the chord pressed down at the same time by using his pinky and keeping the chord presses down with the other 3 fingers

I was just wondering how do you have such an accurate sound ? i mean it really sounds like the original one.
Do you use pedal ?
I mostly use a chorus pedal and slight tremolo effect on the clean parts to get roughly the same vibe as the original guitar tone on the record.

is this song suppose to put a bit of pain into the wrist? (I'm a beginner and my wrist stings like crazy after an hour of learning this!)
hahah no man. Try to keep that wrist straight. There's a video by Adam Neely on the subject. Hope that helps
If you practice for a longer period a bit of pain could be a sign of muscle fatigue, which is - to some extent - normal for a beginner. Don't practice too much and allow your muscles enough rest. Be careful though. If the problem persists after building up some strength, there might be other causes.
how do you play this without hurting your left arm. I've been playing awhile but my thumb really hurts after an entire verse doing barre chords. It's been awhile since I've practiced only using barres in a song.
you get used to it
It's a mix of playing relaxed, not pressing down too hard and building up strength in your hand. It's somewhat normal that in the beginning practicing barre chords hurts a little since you need to build up some strength in your hands first. But don't overdo do it if it hurts!

When i try the solo it sounds super muddy. No matter what way i mute the middle string it still sounds this way. Any tips?

Yes, you are right. First verse on the record is a tad faster, but 92 bpm matches the tempo of the chorus. The tempo fluctuates throughout the song.
