SHEIN is a very questionable brand (environmental impact, stealing from designers, animal welfare, child labour) and I hope people can find other alternatives than fast fashion (like buying second hand, up cycling, more "ethical" brands). Even tho I totally understand it is a cheap way for people to buy clothes and that not everyone can afford ethical brands. But all of this is just part of capitalism, and the goal is always making you buy more via marketing and stuff. We don't need that much clothes in life, and most people don't even wear 30% of their wardrobe.
Anyway, this was not meant to be a hate post, I wish all of you a good day!

@@royaleariana9006 which is totally understandable because we all have a different style (even tho it's biased a lot by the "current trend"). But maybe buying from those big companies is the reason why smaller brands with a cooler style can't get popular and so having much competitive prices
Honestly most brands and companies are questionable except for second hand and if everyone was shopping second hand there would not be enough items to buy because not everyone has their clothes in a good enough condition to give them to a second hand shop
Most of my clothes when I stop wearing them are not wearable anymore, they either have holes or ripped at some point
And even brands that are exaggeratedly expensive let children produce their wear and pay them a few cents an hour then proceed to sell for 50-70$
Atleast shein doesn't charge as much for the shitty ways they were made in
And art theft is commonly known and also used by millions, as a matter of fact I recently heard about a designer that made some designs for vans, they denied them and didn't pay her and then proceeded to make a collection that's 90% based/copied on the artist's work
And you pay much more for that :)
That's why I am not a fan of saying "shein is bad" but yet not really providing a better alternatively for people that barely have enough money to buy food and act like shein is the only problem in the "fashion industry"
@@Mina-rf3nw no no shein is bad, that’s just a fact, but buying from it occasionally or when you have no other options isnt what’s making such a horrible impact. it’s all the big rich lifestyle and fashion pages and influencers buying hundreds of dollars worth of clothes that’s the problem. anybody who’s trying to shame people who buy occasionally or can’t afford better are just looking for excuses to attack people and don’t actually are about the effects. shein also isn’t the only shitty fashion brand there is by any means, it’s just the one that’s most popular right now so it’s in the limelight the most

I just took it as the example because it was the brand cited in the video, but yea child labor and stuff also happens for other brands that put a way higher price. I condemn the whole overconsumption in general and how it's not sustainable anymore. And how influencers make their profits out of publicity for those kind of brands when they probably have these things for free (I'm not saying all of them but most of them)

Shein uses child labor and harms kids throughout Asia without pay and it is inhumane, which is why their products are so cheap. I really love this channel but I also feel the need to say that there is better alternatives that are still very cheap. This isn't hate by any means, just educating in case you didn't know or thought these are the cheapest quality clothes out there. It's better to support local or small businesses then this corporation that uses and abuses children across the globe.
Shein is plus size friendly and a great alternative since plus size clothing is usually expensive. Second hand usually doesn’t cater to plus size. Sadly a lot of brands use child labor but you can’t judge someone for simply ordering shein.

Don't buy based on YOUR size but on the size guide on each product. I take my measures and buy based on that, so i have clothes from Shein that goes from M to XL. Same with the shoes, i am usually 7.5, but i have shoes from them that are 9 based on the lenght of my foot :) anyway, you are so freaking cute ❤️

Great items but can you guys please be aware, young children are making these, kids that are supposed be in school and study make these, poor kids who work day and night in a basement make these. Some die because of dehydration some because of a lot of pain. Please don’t buy a lot from Shein, they’re tricking you into buying there stuff.
